Hermy seeded my crop

Ok, I just realized that in between the 3rd and 4th week of flowering some hermy plants popped there sacks on the lower halves of my whole crop. Im now in mid 5th week and was on track to chop in the 8th week. If I still let them go for the last 2 and a half weeks ,what am i goin to end up with (Tiny green seeds?). Is it worth it? Will they fully mature? Should I chop now? I just want the opinions of some people who've experienced this or have some insight on whats best to do. Thanks for an helpfull replies.

Yes the plants will mature The seeds will probably be mature also. Quality will suffer slightly but should still be some good smoke you will just have alot of seeds to deal with.

Let them mature. An immature seed has less of a chance of growing up. Then "dry/cure" them for a week or two and voila, feminized seed and you will have plenty of opportunity to find an excellent mom. Although (and I don't know breeding stuff very well), it is my understanding that you don't want to use them for breeding stock (passing on the hermi trait to future generations...or something like that).

This happened to me. If you know the plants(s) that hermied, don't use those seeds. If an otherwise stable plant was knocked up by one of her evil sisters, the feminized seed from her is a keeper.

Yea, I did remove all the balls i could find. Looks like just a bud here and there got pollinated not whole plants. I was just concerned this might push back my harvest a couple weeks and I dont have time for that.

...and why risk using seeds that hermed for no reason. Seems you could pass on that undesirable trait.

Feminized seeds are made using plants that are intentionally manipulated into herming.

I've had that happen...it's a pisser. Check your room for light leaks. That's the biggest source of growroom hermies.

Yea dr.dee it prolly was the seeds(bagseed). I used this mother for several other drows though and never hada single pollen sack. Doesn't make sense. First thing I did was look for light leaks, but nothin blacker than black in there.

8 week? from seed? what strain?

I'd chop now if your only taking them to 8 weeks. However I would keep going if you take them to at least 9 more like 10. The lack of power in the high won't be much different from now and 8 weeks. Your yield might suffer...slightly. week9-10 are fattening weeks.

Just because the plant went hermi does not mean it`s offspring will go hermi. It could have that gene in it`s genetics that causes the hermi stuff. Or the hermi could have popped up because of stress. Stress,be it light stress, lack of water,pests....any of those stresses can cause that to happen if not handled asap! I had a sativa dom plant that towered over the whole garden, the bitch got a phosporous def,and at the time it was my 1st grow so I did not know what was wrong with the plant. By the time I realized,it was to late! The bitch had hit my crystal covered indica and her whole top was seeded up. However I let her mature and not only were the seeds mature and good but the weed was still FIRE! Plus I have about 100 or so seeds all femi =)
