OG KUSH

Alrighty everyone. I need any input/advice on my current OG kush grow.

I'm not sure which cut it is, the grower/friend didn't know.

Its been vegging very long time. 1 month I think. They were stunted to all hell for a long time then I over-watered the shit out of them. Not to mention theey were on an ice cold concrete floor for the first 2.5 weeks (this is my first grow). They just started really taking off.

Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Root Exculerator to get them to bounce back from the over-water/cold floor.
Fox Farm Grow Big (very rare that I use this, im going to tonight though)
Fox Farm Big Bloom (most of the waterings, not tonight though)

When should I induce flowering with these girls?

and im considering using FOX FARM Open Sesame tonight, if someone can give me a yay/nay on this..only if everyone thinks I should flower tonight.

They were all topped/fimmed

Do they seem to have any deficiencies like cal/mag? I noticed the edges curl up a tiny bit taco style.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I really want things to run smoothly because the first few weeks were kinda stressful.

Ooops. I just realized those pictures are a few days old..Here are some new ones.

They shouldn't look that droopy... unless the pictures were taken relatively close to watering I would say you might be giving them a little bit too much h2o. Or if they are taken a long time after watering you might be waiting too long. Aside from the droopage they look pretty healthy...i'm running OG Kush (abusive's cut) and it stretches a good amount in flower so you might want to switch the lights soon depending on your height restrictions.

Yes those are the pots I plan on using.

The good news is I have TWO lights to put those under (6 under each light, I plan on putting 6 under each light a few days before the flip)

Hey man. I have no idea why but when lights are off they're so drooooopy.

As soon as lights come back on they're perky again..

All of the pots are almost bone dry right now and I water once like every 4 days....

they're just sleeping. my p98bub & AOGK do the same when they get tired (1-2h before lights off) / lights off

Put 'em in 3 gal. grow bags.. they're real cheap and you can cram them into a tight space. You're only talking a little more soil and those babies will triple in size or more. One foot in height per gallon... in general.

Geez, I'm just not sure why im so abusive!!!

Tonight I was messing around with a really tall and lanky plant. (2nd pic, farthest right). I broke two of her arms at there lowest nodes to stunt her and promote growth above the pinch point.. Completely satisfied with the way I did it.

But, not completely satisfied with her height... The top cola was way to tall so I decided to try and bend her down a little bit. I was working her nice and slow when all the sudden the stalk broke. I held her up and gave her some floral tape. She looks pretty sad but im sure she'll recover. To be honest I'm not that upset as this is my ugliest plant and I need to make her nice and tough as if she hears me making fun of her.

Tonight I learned how to work with this strain when it comes to bending down. These stems are VERY stiff but right above the lowest node on each branch there is a SOFT spot. With this soft spot you can work the plant with your fingers to go any direction you want. It will wilt for awhile an hour or two and then it will be perking right back up. Pretty cool. I'm glad i am experimenting.

Im going to put in the 2nd 600w bulb tomorrow and put 6 plants under each light once they recover. Once the plants are seperated I will veg a couple days and flip.

I might get some neem oil and spray down my plants a couple days before the flip too just as a pre-caution.

If you are worried about the droopage, give them a shot of B vtamin. I get it from the Home de-pot for about 5 bucks a gallon. It will give them a serious boost of energy and vigor. I usually mix 3 teaspoons per gallon but you can go as strong as needed cause it wont burn the girls. I use it for droopy clones too. All around though, they look healthy and dark green.
