I have been wanting one for years, and have used several classic Volcano's. Now I am finally ready to get my own, and am not sure whether to order the Classic or the Digit. I have not used the Digit yet, so I was hoping that anyone who's had experience with both could chime in with their opinion. Is the Digit worth the extra dough?

for all who wants a digi turkey bag vape for cheap, check out the following...

the Digi-Vapor VP-500

got one myself about a month ago, everything is still working great. turns your chemically harsh and unflushed buds into a tasty hit. sometimes the taste can be so good, it tastes like you licked the nug itself. welcome to a new age, VAPE IT!

You sir, did not answer a single one of sin-seed's questions. And you tried to push some vaporizer that will in no way be of equal quality to a volcano.

sin-seed: To help with this question.

^ Compares heat-up side by side.

I have a volcano classic solid valve and love it. It is durable, and I feel the solid valve bags are way better than the easy fill.

I haven't had the pleasure of using a volcano digit, but I think the classic does just fine. That video shows that it heats up quicker than the digit, and the only real difference is a pretty digital display?

I hope that answer sets a better precedent than bleezie tried to provide. Everyone seems to be on drugs these days.

Thanks guys. Bleezie, I have tried several vapes and have decided to go with the Volcano. And the solid valve system actually, I just forgot to mention that part. The only part I hadn't decided on was Classic or Digit. Thanks for the link, confused! Going to watch it right now.

my friend has one of these. don't like the jumpy temp adjuster. and now he's having issues with it shorting out somewhere. gotta whack it a few good times to get it to stay on when you hit the air button. :off2:

Hey quick question on the Volcano, sorry for the quick hijack of the thread Sin, but I'm also in the market for a Volcano and had a releveant ?.....What is the diffrence between the easy valve and solid valve and which would your recommend ....I currently have a Vapir One 4.0(the worst $150 Ive spent)..Sorry again Sin,

I've never used one of them but I have used a pipe style vaporizer and it was quite nice, I think I'd check one out too if I were you. Vapos are nice especially for their uniqueness but sharing bag and the fact that they can rip ehhh.... Just my 2 cents

I've got the digital and the easy-fill bags and am looking to get the solid valve. That said... I think the digital is great although I still seem to want to the bong most of the time.

I wish all the cheap volcano haters would just shut up and realize you get what you pay for.

Solid Valve is the way to go. It is basically a mouth piece that lets you attach a plastic bag to one end. You can use oven bags from the grocery store - I use the volcano brand bags that are still pretty cheap. You just keep it clean every once and a while with some rubbing alcohol and a new bag.

The easy valve are a bag/valve combo that can't be changed (they actually can - it is not easy and they are not mean't to be changed), so you need to buy more volcano brand bag/valve things instead of just any oven bag. I feel its Storz and Bikels's way of making a little bit more money.

Yeah, I should have been more clear. Not to be a dick or anything, but I am ONLY interested in the VOLCANO brand vaporizer! I have tried 5-6 different styles, and every time the person claimed theirs was the best. Well, I've tried a few Volcano's and in my limited vaping experience, they truly ARE the best. That's why when someone tries to push their weaker vape they always say, "this one's even better than the Volcano".

i am only letting some people know that there are alternatives if you dont have $600 to shell out. the digi vapor is not well known, but in my opinion it works almost like a volcano for 30% of the retail price on a volcano. tell me where you can find a better, cheaper alternative turkey bag vape. $175 or $600. made in china or germany. your choice. im just throwin it out for your entertainment.

I've got both, there is no real difference apart from the display and heat up time, I would not get the easy valve set as you will need to buy replacement easy valves and last time I looked they cost £60 + for a kit, where as if you have the solid set all you need to buy are replacement bags. I'll try and upload some pics later but the new photo upload thingymajig baffles me.

I have the volcano classic, solid valve. Very good piece of equipment, I have owned mine for almost 3 years now, no complaints at all. Took me a little while to figure out the best setting for getting vapor and no smoke but well worth the $600, an investment in your health.

I've used tons of vaporizers, the Volcano is the best as far as party style smokin' goes, but the flavor isn't as good as vapes you can hit straight (no bag).

Hasn't anyone mentioned the bagfill time comparisons?

I think the digi fills up the bags faster.

I'd be more inclined to go for the classic. I'd hate to pony up that extra cash to have something short out. Call me cynical when it comes to electronics...

I also think the digit has a faster fill time/better pump.

If I were to order another Volcano I would order the classic, there is no real need to pay the extra for the digital display, although it is a cool feature. Another good reason to get the solid valve set is that you can make the bagsize whatever you want, which is cool for huge party bags.
