Planning my first grow!

what he said, don't give up.
It took me 8-9 months on my first grow because I had so many things wrong with my setup. I was lucky because I had a source of really good clones, I killed many before I got it right. But once it's right, it's right and everything is easy, just a ride in the park.
just hang in there!

Well, I got much more done this weekend! It's starting to come together!

Only thing left really is the carbon filter and sealing light leaks. :D :D :D (Oh ... and some fans...)

Total cabinet view -- sorry it's so dark. The lights were so bright I couldn't really do anything else. :)

My DIY CoolTube! (I had to improvise a little, but it works...)

Proof that the cabinet really can do something!

And with the back on!

Good job STL, I bet it feels good to make progress.

I was just thinking about the cooltube though. Is the twine supporting the whole thing? If so, I don't think it's the safest/most secure way.

Just my 2 cents. Keep up the work! almost there.

Peace,

I went ahead and remounted the light and fan. I still don't really have much room for a carbon filter inside the cabinet... I'm not sure what to do about that at the moment.

It would be easier if I could do the filter on the exhaust side instead of the intake, but I know that is not optimal.

But oh well. I do have some stuff going though. :D I have CH9 Jack at 1 week and some mexibrick bag seed at 2 weeks.

FYI: The Jack is the really big stuff... :)

You could possibly fit a drain atrium carbon filter in there. just cover w/ panty hose, carbon, another layer of hose.

Looks good, glad things are working out for you.

Peace,

I see? wtf? :)

As long as your exhaust fan has a high enough cfm rating, you're fine. Just figure out what it is and go from there. I don't know exactly how much exhaust power you're gonna lose, but if you're 3-4 times over the minimum, don't sweat it.

Hey guys... Quick update: I'm going into production mode so I thought I would let this thread drop, but I do have a new one you can see in my sig. Feel free to stop by and watch them grow ... and help me there. :) It would be appreciated.

Thanks for all your help!
