Oh? It's an AGE thing? I'm not that "old" [at least to people that refer to themselves as "fart's"] but I sure "farted" around OG for awhile.... Had a few Strainguides and everything... [as if that mattered...]

I loved it when they dropped all those ping pong balls. I wonder who picked them up?
I remember when we first got air conditioning. They built a new hospital in town and sold everything they couldn't use out of the old hospital building. My dad bought five window unit air conditioners and put them in different rooms in the house. Before we got them we had an whole house attic fan with a thermostat.
We had two phones. They would last through a nuclear blast and you couldn't pull the cord out of the wall with a truck.
A Coke was 10 cents but I can remember a machine that took a nickel.
I remember that regular gas was 100 octane and cost around 20 cents a gallon. During "gas wars" I saw it get down to 13 cents a gallon one time.
I remember being afraid the Cubans were going to nuke us and I wanted to live in the crawl space under the house.
It used to snow here several times every winter.
The movie was 30 cents and a kid could see any movie playing...alone.
You could trust the government.
Sinclair gas. Dino the Dinosaur. I worked at a Sunoco station pumping gas. They had the "Custom Blend" pumps. 90 octane was the economy grade and you could get up to 260 octane. That's when hot cars had 11:1 compression. Big Block Camaros, Chevelles and Corvettes. Those were good days.

Burn 1, that is an excellent post. I remember everything, but Jack Lord as 'Stony Burke'. How about free TV? I would've LMAO is someone in 1965 told me that in 40 yrs, TV would cost us $$$ each month, we'd be buying bottled-water & people would be walking down the street talking on their telephones!!

TV isnt free?!?, ive had free tv since the p2 card on DTV and now hack a coolsat 5000 for dishnet and bev (why does canadian tv have 10 gay porn channels? I thought they just drank molson and smoked a lot of pot)
Boo, you might appreciate this, was drivin north on 29 a week ago bout 5 miles south of imokolee (sunniland I think) and a friggin panther ran in front of me. Sure glad for anti lock brakes cause there woulda been only 12 left.

sup fellow former og members. Irish just turned me onto this site just awhile back. Haven't really explored this site till today, and discovered this thread. Came to OG after Weedbase went down, and OG started up to replace WB.
I just posted my info in introduce yourself, so i won't go over everything again here. Just looking for old names from OG. I stopped doing the boards a year or so before OG and HS went down.
I was wondering where 10k has been. I noticed he hasn't posted since turkey day of last year?
anyway......just thought i would add m2cw in the og old farts.
