power went out!!!

my power went out sometime after midnight last night. i woke up @ 8 this morning and went 2 check on things and the light was out. i turned the light back on and it ran for 2 hours before its normal shut off time @ 10am. the light will turn back on @ 4pm. im almost three weeks into veg and i dont know if this mishap is goin to affect my girl's. any help??

It would take a week of sporatic light schedule to cause a prob so just make sue they stay on course ,

I screw the lights 2-3 times a grow. Life happens. As jtk says, no bouncing around but, a blip or three stretched out, feh.

i use non digital timers, and they are always off like 10-15 minutes every time. never seem to be any issues. your good, just get a timer

I use non digi timers as well, why are you off?


But to make sure that my plants get at least 12 hours of darkness, I have my timers set for 12:30 darkness, 11:30 light hours. This also give me some leeway, in the situation where I need to flip on a light just before lights on

i dont know, shitty timers??? they are never off by much though.

yeah im using a digital timer. my power went out and i have my timer ran into my surge protector then its ran to a GFCI outlet. my GFCI popped when the power went out, so i had to manually push the breaker on the outlet. my babies are o.k.

So you are clear I often go from 18/6 to 16/8 or even down to 15/9 and if I get a blackout its of no concern.The veg phase is really not so photosensitive as flowering is.Dont get me wrong nothing beats consistency,just making a point about vegetating.I live in Fla and have experienced a few blackouts
