ive heard theres lots of rain in GB?
i think you need some strains or crosses that are both early and mold resistant like most of the 'Nordic strains
Esbe got a few crosses on seedbay at the charity auction right now
more should get there within the next few weeks
or try some seedbanks with nordic genes
most of the bigger commercial seed banks so called early strains arent very early at your latitudes
best to find some good genes from maybe small or private breeders also like Guerrilla Gold from Greenz etc

I was thinking about af because they are small and easy to hide but i've been told they aren't very mold resistant.

yeh,, they are small and pull a mini yeald,,,sometimes under 14g.....alltho tho the Auto AK seems slightly larger "i think"

MasterLow is a Kush Hybrid,,,that sounds pretty good for the cold

a Durban or PowerPlant would be amazing for Mould,,,,

frisian dew m8

I live in belgium with the same shitty weather.

It performed well with little mold(1-2%) , harvested 21-30 oct. Good taste and good stone/high , good yield , compact big nugs

See the DP site , they are femenised only and quite expensive , but good easy plant

My personal opinion (talking out my ass) I get plenty or rain here, but good sunshine,

Get some Dutch Passion Fem, something like Hollands hope, Durban and passsion 1, All real early outdoor and not expensive, I ran out some dutch passion fem on a "march or die" regimen they did not do great but i got SOME good bud, Will make a second run and take better care of them,(the super cheap Skunk #11 was some of the best of the BUNCH!)the rest were the high end strains.

Skunk 11 is a nice skunk and Very cheap, was not expecting such a good high from such a cheap strain.

If i lived in a temperate climate I'd Do the "ton of skunk" with DP skunk 11

might be something to think about.

You could go for the strength in numbers approach.

Ahem - hello. I'm not sure if I want to be known as an expert on growing in the rain, but after the last two years I haven't had much choice! Although I'm hoping this year will be different.

Two of my MoFlo (Flo f3) females are dead-certs for outdoors here, as they're both almost flowering under 16/8, unlike the original f1 purple, which needs about 14/10 to trigger, and the f1 green, which needs around 15/9. But that means the new ones should start to flower around early August, rather than early Sept, and be easily done in time. Plus, the bud-sizes are better on these, so as long as they're vegged out to a good size, I reckon they could do well.

The other advantage of the Flo line is that the resin is very 'dry', rather than sticky, which makes them almost waterproof in wet weather. Plus they're very sparsely-leafed, and the leaves that are there are waxy/leathery, so the water runs off quite easily.

I'm going to run a lot less plants at the same spot this years for various reasons, and far less strains - probably just these Flo plants, as I love the smoke, and I know they'll finish, unlike many I tried last year...:)
