Hello guys! My cab is 40x60x70cm. Soon i will buy 150w HPS and MH bulb and the grow can start soon. I will post any updates in this thread. So for the begining theres my cab from front:

The doors are now finished...the white foil is all over the box right now. For the ventilation i will mount 3x120mm fans (on 5V) for intake and 2x120mm fans (5V) for outtake. I must get those 90° knees to hide the light whitch will come from fans holes. I will keep you posted as soon i will made some progress!

Good luck! Sounds like a good idea with the connectors for air flow. I was thinking of finding some vents for the outside too.

What did you think with the outside? I was planing to buy 3 of this 90° knees and put them in the hole and on the other side i will mount fans :) Do you think that i will have enough ventilation for 150w mh/hps ? How many plants i could get in with scrog technique? And how big pots do you suggest?

Now i will get today some blueberry seeds (4 BB and 4 ice). 150w hps mh kit is waiting me on the post office, like fans. When i will get all together i will post some pictures of final stage of growbox.

The maximum temps i saw was 90F or 33 degrees celsious...i will try to decrease them as much i can... i didnt know that 150w is so hot...thank god i didnt purchase 250w :D

Omg i start light for about 5 hours and when i saw the temperatures i almost get heart attack...it was about 100°F or almost 40°C...its time to get my old cool tube from the closet and do some custom work on it...i will post picture of how its look like :D sry there are no plants yet...i think i could plant them tomorrow ... i am very happy that i didnt buy 250w hps :D if i would i could cook all meals including breakfast :D

I read your post mate... I think the guy who says they've been in the water too long might be correct... my last germ I got 100% and I did the following.. soaked the seeds in luke warm water for 24 hours. 24 hours later they had all sank - when they sink they're ready to come out. Then I put them on a plate with tissue and used luke warm water again then a plate on top - I put this near the radiator in my house to keep warm...and within 48 hours all were ready to plant (had tails half an inch/1cm long)

the germ before I only got 50% - that time I didnt try to keep them warm...


I really hope this helps and that you get your seeds germed soon

p.s be careful using unregulated heat sources.. in other words, don't cook the seeds, just keep em cozy :smile:

Hmm...thats the right methode i suppose...but i ve geminate the previous seeds with same technique and i get 100% sucess (5 seeds of white widow). Without any heating water. I dont know where i went wrong here...Now I ve put them in the soil and hoping for the best. In this round i turn on the lights (the seeds were in the box) to get water warmer (i dont have any radiators in my floor). Most of them have some space between both sides, so i put whole seeds in the soil and cover it with soil...Whitch seeds do you recomend to buy? Some quich sativa (80/20 sativa indica will be awersome) with good aroma and uplifting high? (to feel real awersome when you smoke it...)
