Great show. How do you predict this yield will compare to your other "old school" 1800w thread?

gotta say jinks im disappointed at the final 29.5 oz a good 3 below my botom line and 12 oz down on my best run with 1200 flat:yeahthats was so long ago i hit those numbers im thinking of going on substitutes bench with a jar of fire flies growing leeks:laughing: id conclude at the lower temps available to me on this run, in this area with only a 4 foot ceiling 600s are to heavy and 5 x at least 6 foot high would yeild considerable more, and confronted with the same space again in the bdbox id go 400s... anyways guys hope you enjoyed what id have to put down as a brave attempt of verting some high power in a small space! theres obvious options like lifting a bulb vertical which ive done on the 2 previous occassions and a cool tube ( which iv zero experience) cant be to disappointed as the gears top meds.......soon as ive smoked this 99 ill come back fighting:dueling:

cheerz all cmoon

cool dude.....ive run the blumats at least a dozen times, in neat coco 10 litres is about max , aggressive roots will steal water out of the cone if your drip rates a tad low....if you have excessive run off over night when the lamps are off just crank the adjusta knob back a tad........can take a few days to dial in, but in full bloom drippers will be virtually constant with the small dose they emit, theres more detail in my sig 'last years moon' if it will help in anyway

Cmoon, is there a link to the 42oz/1200w grow? Beautiful pictures, by the way. Enjoy your fruit!

unfortunatly jinks that grow was on O.G in 2003 ive just had a glance over at a uk site and the pics have been deleted for some reason:yoinks:along with my account:laughing:

ive hit around those figs quite a few times but only with chronic, criticalmass and armeggedon, plus I scrogged with ultra reflectors on a rail over 2 x 8 autopot units with compressor powered soaker hose......id really have to grow chron or mass on my prefered blumat dripper system to give a reasonable comparrison but the autopots needed a lot of preperation and why I opt for he simple water emitters...bests result under 1200 static in compost/coir =34

thx again for the ups growers, cya soon......cmoon

Bummer about the yield Moon, you ran an almost identical set up to my figure 8 I used to run. I think strain selection may have been a factor here. The lowest I've got with 2 X 600w was 34oz(my first grow this way) and biggest just over double that. I did notice your lights were a little high early on wasting a fair bit of light though..

Sorry don't have any pics, my PC just recovered from a virus and I had to use recovery disk. Everything lost:mad:

If anyone wants to see some crazy vertical set ups check out the "Vertical Limits" (where have I heard that before LOL) section of the PG forum. Or just google Heath Robinson or Prawn Connery :headbange

cheers for the constructive remarks 2ezy.....could I ask you to elaborate if your 34/68 was scored in hydro or compost? id also respectfully disagree I was wasteing light when the whole roof of the budbox acts like a reflector and i carried the lamps high in the early stages to reduse light intensity bleeching which im sure as an experience grower youd conceed that hammering plants that are confined to a static 4 foot width in there early stages of bloom is not the done thing:noway: pity about the lost pictures dude, id have loved to have seen them.

good call on pointing intrested partys to heaths vertical staduims'but to the best of my previous knowledge he grows simular plant numbers in waterfarms which 3 gallons of recycled coir compost would never compete with and drips larger plant numbers on timber framed racks

always the ones that dont have a pic in there threads...cam dead lost hardrive..but aint got a diary anywhere...with that space etc you smacked it!! all the best moony

Nice grow bro. You know what I'm going to ask though..

I'm thinking about flipping a BudBox for similar reasons to you.

Any issues with using the BudBox on it's side? Any reason you wouldn't do it again?

Tagged in too, are you doing another grow in this thread?

yo mcsnap'......as i went vertical mount the outer legs now on there side in this senero held 2 x bulbs and bannots with no problems, for any sort of reflector id deffo look to strengthen the mounting points with a simple timber or metal tubler frame as in the cheap wardrobes/greenhouse/ footy nets construction

my problems where im an avid 600/1000 watt man and in the confined width of the box id have loved a pair of 400s, not so much down to heat, i controlled temps pretty well imo, more the intensity of 600s bare so close!

im thinking a 5x5 foot area would be more in tune with 600.

big yer id go again, its always on my mind.

If your thinking reflector in that 4 foot high which includes pot size and the room the refllector takes up id say its gotta be aircooled sog for yeild and you can fit 40 x1 gall buckets in the space........

if you give me some details of the light power and ventilation your intending + plant numbers il do my best to propose best route

im currently running with reflectors but ive not totally ruled out some vertical action in my current grow.....its dam hot even on nights:laughing: and loseing the reflectors deffinatly gives you a bit of breathing space.
