Afternoon Gang,
Well, thought I'd trim up the Widow today...Hope you enjoy the pics...I'm kinda proud of her...99 days old today from seed....I cut/trim off my buds, hang them in an onion bag in my cab...This will be a nice smoke for sure....
Tric pics...1st one, is 60x...other 2 are 200x....The rest, enjoy...

Hey Treetops, I am running two sets at 12/12 from seed, One set is 12 plants strong and the other is simply sprouts Put to ground when Lola said was a good time to germ by the moon phase. So far i have 8 sprouts off that run.
My question is this. How long does it normally take to tell sex when growing from seed in 12/12. I thought i read somewhere on here that it normally take 22 days tops to tell sex, however i am at 24 days 12/12 and not even a single indication yet of anyones sex....

Sounds like things are going well for you too...I found that it takes close to 30 days but my one cross showed flowers at 28 days...but I check my "kids" with a magnifiy glass...from 24 or 25 days on...It may have something to do with the strain itself...I'm a rookie so take what I say with that in mind...You will soon see what you are lookin for...Patience is something one must have with growin...

My first run with a regular Veg cycle didn't show until about 2 weeks into flower, so about 6 weeks. I had heard that 12/12 showed earlier and thought this would be a great thing, being able to cull the males while earlier and taking up MUCH LESS room. I check them every night with my magnifying glass. I am just dealing with so much shit from my LTP for the time I invest in growing that I was trying to maybe figure out when to check them.... But the hell with him, I'm gonna just keep spending my time with my plants and when their ready to show me what they've got, I guess I will get to see them with their pants down....lol.
Funny I find that even when a man is a " habitual smoker" he doesn't necessarily like to see his woman as a grower... Even to the point of now saying he is gonna quit smoking...I told him last night, well you go ahead and quit. I will just smoke your share.....

I had read about the same thing...showing of sex early...they do....but not as early as we would like I guess...Keep checking with your glass...I have a separate room, just for my males..just to collect the pollen...then in the compost they go...
Too bad you guys dont agree on the growin aspect...a lot could be achieved with the extra thoughts sometimes...
Keep on growin...and smokin his share...

My intent exactly... and your right it could be a lot more fun if I had the additional support...

. I figure even when he's gone
: i'll still be sitting by the fire blazin a blunt and looking for these plants to drop their pants and show me what they've got for me. I thought about saving the males for pollen, but for me breeding and seeding is MUCH FURTHER down the road and I can use the extra room to veg if the 12/12 idea doesn't produce like I would hope. I tried making some Canna-butter with 5 males I had about 6 weeks old....that shit was nasty as hell, so from now i will toss the males. 
Once I learn how to clone, reveg and all that, then i will definately be looking to make some seeds. i'm certain i will be asking for help when that time comes......

Treetops how do you get those photos with the trics so clear. do you use a microscope and your cam. I have a pretty good cam and i have to get a macro lens before i can get close ups. but a macro lens is around 5 to 600 dollars. but i am going to check out circuit city that are going out of business and they are having huge discounts.

Hey PW....Thanks...it has taken awhile, but I'm gettin the hang of things....
GG, I use this toy microscope a QX5 Computer Microscope..its not the best, but not the worst either...Cost me $94.00 and change....I'm a gadget guy...Saw an EyeClops at BJs last week...$29+..read they do a nice job as well...Save your $$$$...
