bud growing out of a fan leaf,WTF!!!

I won't say what breeder or strain this is bcuz i don't kiss and tell..but i bought this 5 pack of fems. seeds and had 2 mutations that grew to about 8" and had the weirdest leaves that did'nt even look like pot and this one plant has a bud growing from one of it's big fan leaves..been growing for 15. yrs. and never seen this b4, has anyone else? this is crazy!! i did email the breeder and tols him but have not gotten any response..would love for him to see this.bud growing out of a fan leaf, WIERD..what are these breeders doing to their weed..thy look as though they grew by a nuclear powerplant..any info all would be great..thanks and peace out!!

I've had that happen before. I don't think it's that unusual anymore, with the coming of the internet. Kind of like trifoliate plants. Once thought to be very odd, now seems almost common place.

It probably has cannabis chinensis genetics in it. They are known to exhibit this trait.

This is not common Chinese.For several years i grow some Yunnan sativa's but haven't seen this before.This is just mutation.It can happen ones a while!!!

this plant also exhibits crinkle leaf pheno on one branch as well..from what i've been told mutants are exteremly powerful..no experience with a mutant b4 though..honestly it's creepy but kinda beautiful...peace

I don't get the issue with keeping the strain hush hush though, mutants happen with most any seed company. Some might even buy due to the weird mutant possibilities so it could be beneficial for some seed banks.

if it was a characteristic of the strain you'd think that elmanito would have seen it at least once. I've seen pictures of several different yunnan plants that he has posted and if i was to need a question answered about this variety of cannabis, i would talk to him.

If a tree falls in a forest and nobody hears it does it make a sound? Just because he hasn't seen it doesn't mean it does not exist. Yunnan is just one region in China. No one said anything about it being on strains from Yunnan. I stated that it is a trait that can be found on cannabis chinensis, not on all cannabis from China.

now you know y i won't state the breeder or strain..someone always seems to take what is said all wrong..all we were trying to do was figure out why this pack of seeds had so many mutations..some only grew to about 8" with very strange leaves and this plant has 2 sites on fan leaves were buds are forming..thank you all wish this strain wasn't that way bcuz it smells so goood..
