I have been growing for years, and around the stuff for longer than I can remember. 4th Generation farmer actually and very proud of it (thanks pop). I was never even aware of AF strains until recently when my last two seasons of "Garlic Skunk" started to AF without any warning at all! Sneaky buggers. But now that I did the S.M.R.T. thing and brought out the trait through breeding, I have found on the web that not only are more people doing it, but they are doing it very well. So I just picked up some beans to try (MDanzig's BlueRyder, JointDoc's DieselRyder, and some Skunk Info Skunk Haze) and I'm so amped about seeing how far we can take this.
PS: Lol @ the rippers in their chopper flying over my patch this week totally unaware of the sexiness right beneath them hiding in the grass.

Whats up Guys? Just found this thread. Nice to see a group dedicated to Autos. I have some of Mossy's Jems that I'm waiting to germ. Maybe another month and it will be warm enough to get them goin outdoors. I had a small run of autos in the fall but I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do in better growing conditions. GL guys.

hey guys, im very new to this site and growing in general but have restricted space to grow, so whats a good site to get some good low ryder mixes from? thanks

Come one come all......

The group is growing quickly and we are somewhere around 120 members now so you better get in on the ground floor.

Like I said before all breeders and all AF. Discuss your works in progress or show off that work.

Hope to see you there.

Finally I have enough posts to join the group, if you'll have me that is. :)

Not having much luck with my old lr seeds though. So far only one (out of ten) has germinated.

Should have stored them better I suppose. Oh well, lesson learned.

well its getting warm here in my NY area and some trees are starting to bud and when i see that I get the itch to grow..... honestley i've had the itch all winter.

For 09's outdoor I will be doing my TW x LR cross again and I might throw in some of the early LR x WW cross I made a few years back just for some variety.

Here are some pics of last years TW x LR grow........

I forgot to add the post above is of the AF plant and the one pictured below is the non-AF.

I tied her down for more lateral growth and as you can tell i got a few good tops but it was prone to bud rot this year because of NY humidity, I lost half the plant & some huge tops to that stinking rot.

This particular pheno has alot more trich coverage than the AF'ing plant and it resembled the original TW mom more, it leaned towards the sativa side. The trim made some great ISO, full melt in fact and tasty as hell. The smell was of candied lemon with a slight spicy undertone, very great clear high, I hope to get more of that pheno this year.
