DAMN this thread is a must read 4 everyone! I didn't even know that people grew weed in Africa. I can't believe how ignorant I was! Not only does it look like there must be a million exotic strains in the continent, but they look (and sound) like some of the best in the world.

...

and those La Mano Negra pics are making my mouth water. mmmmm mmm

Hello
The past season we were out poison African genetics to Southafrican Kwazulu.
This strain is very good vegetation and nice rock bud with full trichoms....
I send some pics my african strain...

I just got some african seeds and started a few but I am afraid they are going to get too big and I can only grow them indoor. Are there any africans that stay small? I got transkei green, durban poison, swazi red, malawi gold, and some black strain.

peace and health everyone

edit: joluvs2gro, hello :) you can always control size by root-restriction i.e: container-size, you can always top them too and get small bushes.

Beautiful plants guys!

Mine are looking a bit better now the sun's out after a week of constant rain.
Got them as the sun was setting.

Looks like this one's going to have some long fingers.

I was calling these "ThaiPoisons" but I found out the mother was not Thai, but an unknown Chinese Sativa of some kind. So they're Chinese Sativa x Durban Poison I guess.

Tarries

Tarries

I´ve no heard about Tarries!?!? wht its?!?

Tarries seems to be pure sativa - thin leaves and 2 weeks into flower seems to be producing very airy buds.

Tarries is a term of endearment for a longer name - mentioned earlier in this thread - cant remember the longer name - Tarananghi or something similar...

I thought I have heard about most of the african strains, but Bushmen I have never came accross.... Do you get Bushmen from a seed bank?

Hola Paz! Que tal?

That afropips swazi looks different to the ones I've seen from African seeds.

Here's mine:

The seeds were really big, shiny light brown in color, no mottling. This girl has been stretching like a bitch and burned her main cola without me noticing.

Hola amigo Thule :) como esta usted?

Yes, you are right, they do not seem that similar. Perhaps in Swazi there are various red lines that are called swazi red as a standard name?. It would not be unusual.

mine are a bit droopy atm because it has been raining every day.
but will take more pics soon.

peace :)

in the summer of 2008 we grew southafrican kwazulu. i was quite satisfied cos i thought it never finish in our conditions. it was extremely large and high plant, the highest yelder we had that year. the fact is it did not finish fully (it needed half month to end), though it was very good smoke. if u want ask radvancan for photos :)

Beautiful Swazi red PazVerdeRadical! She looks VERY similar to the mother of the Swazi's I've got going now. It looks like she'll turn out great man.
How's the resin production atm? Mine didn't have a huge amount of resin but it was every ware. Along the petioles of the fans and the "stem" of the buds if you know what I mean. Resin started very early in too, about 2 weeks into flower.

She was an ant trap. Stupid creatures kept wondering onto the sticky stems and getting stuck. I kept having to pick them off lol.

It'll be a while but I'll put some pics up of my Swazis when they bust into flower.:canabis: Keep up the good work mate!
