Serious Seeds "CHRONIC"

sortof wondering about the makeup of this one myself
Strange thing actually that you dont see Chronic used more in crosses around, the only ones I've found is Willy Jack's seeds with Tangerine and some other cross...I cant see why really because if you find a good chronic pheno it should be golden for making crosses to increase yield
I've always thought about a Powerplant x Chronic cross as the cross with the single most potential for finding the "perfect popsticle plant" ...a single bud SOG plant that would yield like a monster and give a nice mixed effect..too bad I have no space nor time for trying the cross myself though

Glad to help. I just noticed that there is another bit of info on chronic, actually ocurred in the first post of that thread, which lists the parentage as something different.

The post that you saw was after that one, and I don't know if it was an accurate update or not. You might want to go to that thread and then use the "search this thread" function at the top of the page and see the other times it is mentioned. Just so you have all the available info. Also, you might try typing something like "chronic cannabis" into google and see what comes up, there are numerous other sites out there that have good info.

i did a large grow of chronic and yes it is some good bud. if grown organic but their is some on this site they hate it saying it has no potency and no smell or taste. do not believe it .
i still have 10 seeds left out of 15 all 5 where female.the phenoms where from piny to citrusy
to grape jelly.the best was the grape jelly phenom that was indaca high as the citrus was sativa.i plan on crossing something with my last chronic seeds .as i find it more like a good northern lights and adds serious weight to ant thing it crosses.
i was planing on crossing my chronic to a sativa cali-o from nirvana.or some c99 .
if i wher you i would do the cross.

Yeah I saw that. Now I still don't know.
I had 11 Chronic seeds but only started 5 in a Hydro Hut a year ago before I knew about the Death Syndrome thingy. I thought it was me so I started 5 more which also died in that freakin hut.........By now I was sure it wasn't me and found out about the huts on here. Recently, I went through my seed bank and found the one Chronic left over and a bunch of other misc seeds. The One chronic I had left turned out to be a male. Now I am harvesting the pollen and am gonna cross it with "something". just now sure what yet.

word is, the grape ape clone is from a pack of chronic
this cross has actually already been done by Crazy X Seeds
i dont think theres any beans of that cross currently on the market but check out crazy x at the seedbay section on forum and in Private Breeders at Seedbay.com

I do not know if grape ape is or is not from chronic .but i have some old seeds where they came in packs of 15 .and their is a grape jelly phenom in my pack .it does not turn color at all it will give you a whity. i smoked some one night and had too lay down the room was spinning.its the first i have had it to me sense my teens. and i have a son 21 years old

mr woody; thanks for the info, most people are pretty biased against chronic, guess its resonance from days of old from bad reviews at o.g. after reading some info you posted awhile back, it persuaded me to give it a run.
good news is today i recieved my seeds from attitude!!! far cry from the stellar service dr chronic USED to give its customers, after 2 completely fucked up orders and having dr chronic blow off my complaints with disdain, attitude pulled through. and they threw in some freebies to boot, cant cry about that ; )
anyway, mr woody, which pheno of chronic was your favorite? i know its ultimately personal preference, but i trust your sage advice. also, does chronic have much of a stretch? ill post some pics tomorrow... thanks wood!

imadoofus my favorite is the grape jelly pheno very frosty and has a killer buzz. i would veg them 2 months as thay have 2x stretch in flower on the average. but their are phenos that has no stretch at all .but it gets better with clones.
