Kellogg's will know they are being boycotted and for what reason if we start a mass campaign to make them realize it by contacting them through email, regular mail, or phone.

http://www2.kelloggs.com/ContactUs.aspx

Kellogg's: 1-800-962-1413.

Kellogg Consumer Affairs, P.O. Box CAMB, Battle Creek, MI 49016

It only takes a few moments and if thousands of people start to contact them they will take notice.

Hey All,

Here is a link to an NY Times opinion piece written about Phelps and kellogg's decision. The opinion piece is a piece of shit, but what is really really interesting is the comments that have been written in response. Easily 90% of the responses are saying the marijuana laws, and the puritanical attitude of loud mouth america, are wrong and need to be changed.

I emailed them last night before I crashed. Told them this senior citizen would no longer buy their products, and that the reason was their decision. And I asked them who they thought buys their products. It will not phase them, but it felt damn good to give them what for.

GM's fiber one is a blessing for you folks that need bran, and they even have fiber one pop tarts!

Boycott michael phelps. that son of a bitch could have took a stand for smokers rights but instead he soldout to his corporate sponsors. he could have stood his ground and became a spokesperson for medical rights and recieved new, cannabis related sponsors and still made millions . so, FUCK MICHAEL PHELPS!

Kellogs is evil.

They sell you nothing with wholegrain if they do they always use rice as filler.

Poptarts are nothing but sugar and whitebread.

STOP EATING THIS SHIT AND WASTING YOU MONEY.

YOU SHOULD BE BOYCOTTING THEM FOR SELLING A WORTHLESS UNHEALTHY PRODUCT.

HE should be thrown out the olympics JUST for advertising them.

Kellogs is a con artist and a scam its like selling someone tricromes that have the cannabinoids extracted leaving you with an empty worthless shell of wax.

I haven't touch a product of theirs in a long time based on that

Who cares he broke the law they have to drop them you realize the WHOLE REASON he advertises for them is they came under legal heat for selling a worthless product AIMED AT CHILDREN NO LESS

Why do you think tony the tiger is all about "GO OUT SIDE AN PLAY" he wasn't always like that.

They hired him to save there image their products should be illigal

Fact is they just want you money for nothing in return

you don't actually eat that shit do you? lol

it's full of sugar, fat, salt, preservatives, synthetic colorings and flavorings plus other additives..as well as a small amount of stale, over processed, over cooked, over chemicaled "food" ingredients.....basically, it's not food.

the cardboard box that the contents are packed in has more nutrients, tastes better and is healthier to eat than the crap inside it! lol

seriously though, when the hungrys hit, be creative do something like wash, peel, core and dice an apple or any other fruit, add some yogurt and a drip of honey..it takes about 30 seconds..or make "pizza" toast, heat up the toaster oven, fine slice some garlic, add sliced tomato, onion, peppers, a little cheese, garlic, etc, to slices of bread, add salt, pepper then olive oil and pop them in the (toaster) oven on a tray until half cooked, remove the tray so the bottom side of toast browns as you finish them...don't burn your fingers!

UHH feel free to come cook for me.

Kind of....I said the opinion piece was shitty, but I didn't slam the entire newspaper like ratbastard did. And it is a tad infuriating being "laughed at" by an obviously "intelligence challenged" lame-brain like him, so thats why I posted.

His attitude is idiotic, and quite common amongst fans of Rush Limbaugh. No newspaper, or any organization is perfect, but where do you think this country would be without journalism? The NY Times, flawed as it is, is an important part of our democracy, as are most other newspapers. If you think otherwise, you have fallen for a boatload of bullshit being perpetrated by the likes of Rush, et al, who are only concerned about keeping all their wealthy friends rolling in the dough.

Has Rush Limbaugh commented negatively on Phelps yet?.....lol...I bet he has, probably calling for Phelps imprisonment....because that would be typical of one of those media "commentators" representing the far right wing and be totally ironic wouldn't it, especially coming from a pin-dot pupil, lying, convicted, prescription shopping, Oxicontin addict like Rush!

Last time I checked, he was an olympic swimmer. Nowhere in that title does it state anything about being a role model. I don't have a child, but if I did and he/she told me that their role model was a man who can barely put two words together, I think I would turn off the tv and hand them a book.

I have to agree that the true turd in this story is the prick who took the picture and spread it around......

What Phelps does in his own time is his own fucking business....if he wants to blow off steam after months of rigorous training, why is it anyone's business??
Why should one donkeyhonker's greed turn a simple bong rip into a huge public hassle for him?

The selfish, opportunistic pissant responsible for making the whole issue public is way more at fault that Phelps (who was just partying) or Kelloggs (who is trying to protect their image in a very conservative and Puritanical market environment).

I say instead of boycotting Kelloggs we find the little goatblower and let Mr Phelps and him spend an hour or two in a closed room......

First of all, I don't listen to Rush period, never have, never will. I do enjoy listening to the "Talking Heads", they were great! Second, I've served my country, pay taxes, have had a mortgage for 30 years.

That being said, I will refrain from name calling and political debates, especially on a canna-forum where you are so compelled to be heared from your soapbox. Your replies have drawn more laughter toward you than the post itself. You've made a couple of replies now, which I've/we've read; however, your attitude and continued name calling clearly shows your intolerance and one sided lack of acceptance.

I've obviouly struck a raw nerve, if so, I extend an apology. Lighten up some, the world is a mess right now. The banter is pointless.

Let's keep the thread on track. Phelp's recent actions don't fit Kellogg's criteria. It's all over in all types of media. Therefore, which ever you choose to read, both sides of the issues at hand are available. :2cents:

I just found this thread, but the night they announced it I sent a nasty-gram to Kelloggs expressing my disappointment. I said it and I meant it, from now on I will be avoiding Kelloggs products to cure my munchies.
