Sweet!

I didnt know at first if the label he put on it meant pure kush, as it was labled "pure". But that thread answered it for me.

You guys know that I will post some pics as they get bigger. Prob gonna bloom one soon.

Doesn;t look like Pure Kush to me. There is not a relation to Bubba with the PK. It is more like real OG Kush, or original Chemdog. Smells the same, tastes the same, same buzz. In fact, I believe the real PK Cut is the same as the old Chemdog Cut.

Growing them, side by side, so far, if not the same, Dang close.

u obviously never smoked the pure kush or seen it grown - grows looks and smells just like bubba, i hear they are actually from the same seed stock - doesnt look a thing like og bro :bashhead: sounds like somebody is passing around fake cuts, sorry bro

Thanks for the props Greyskull. And yeah, they were veggin' for a long while under a 6-bulb T-5 because I didn't have space on any of my flowering trays. And by the time I was ready to put them out, they were about 2-2.5ft. I also topped them a few times as well. I was happy with the yield, but I wish those two strains (BK & PureK) would produce more since the amount of veg time is a lot longer than other strains. But the potency makes up for longer veg time. I cut them down at 9.5 weeks.

9.5 weeks. Super long veg. OK, Now I am really glad you guys are posting your results. I guess I will only bloom the PK every other cycle. This will give it time to catch up to the rest.

edit: Those pics are a dead ringer of this cut. I am very excited to have it. You know me, trying to trace the lineage on everything that graces my presence. I have heard that there are a few different PK's going around. Like everything, I wanna know what to expect. I have never in my life seen leaves that look like that. I can tell that this cut is going to be special. The leaves are shiny and thick. Indicators of a resin monster. Cant wait.

IMO the picture that you were linked to, doesn't so much resemble your cut.. maybe the leaf and structure a little, but your leaves are much more... Shiny / Smooth Hard Plastic looking... I haven't seen these types of leaves in person, but everytime I see them on a plant, it looks to be a really sick ass strain... Hell, one Sativa dom I saw here on ICMag had the shiny type leaves...it was near the end of flowering, and the fan leaves around the colas looked like brownish/purple pieces of beef jerky... lol

I was talking about the picture posted by "dankbudz" that you linked.

No, I didn't think health or climate would make a leaf a completely different shade of green / texture. Health obviously yes, but not in the way that i'm talking about. The picture linked obviously had health problems, but the "still-green" parts of it were an entirely different shade of green, also swamps leaves looked more curved on the surface and rounded near the tips. Dankbudz were flat looking.

I'm pretty sure you would have to either have first hand experience or read material written specifically about the subject. Which I have neither.

Sorry I am such a idiot, maybe you should just get over yourself and reply in a pleasant way. It's so much greater to read a genuine reply without the narcissistic douche-baggery. If you want to correct someone, don't be a cocky little prick about it, everyone learns and no one likes an asshat talking down from his own imaginary high horse.

Thanks :joint:

IDK if the pic I posted shows the jagged leaf under all the smooth ones. The pic of Dankbudz has the same leaf shape as the larger leaves on my cut. I am betting that the plant will grow out of those "smooth leaves". mxpx prob would know if this holds true.

swishaman: I will try to snap a shot of the few leaves under those smooth ones. I think you find a resemblance there.

It could be the sunlight and that I can't see the larger version of your pic :p

I've seen thousands and thousands of pictures of pot growing from my years on overgrow. I am pretty good at seeing similarities, I was just wrong here I guess :D

sorry swisha - i guess i was being harsh, it just kinda irritates me when people say stuff when i go through the trouble to prove something that i know is correct for someone to tell me why they think its not, cause then i have to explain myself in a totally diff way to pursuade the viewers that it is the real deal cut - i didnt call u an idiot i said only an idiot would not be able to see that, just tryin to emphasize so it obvious... sorry i went over the top if u look at my recent post u will see some douch bag following me around strating shit, so i guess u caught me at a bad time

It's alright :D

I used to know a lot more about several subcategories of growing. I could have and probably did know what you told me, but I can't remember the really specific details. I still remember a lot, but only maybe 65% of what I did.

That and I lack actual growing experience which for some subjects I always just assumed I would learn the details when I could grow. Others pretty much have to be learned through growing. I used to think I was the most knowledgeable person about pot growing on Earth who hadn't at one time or another successfully grown it.

I dont need a pissing match, just insight.

come on mxpx...
there are many categories this plant could fall under just by judging leaves / structure.does resemble a kush sure. there is no way to be positive judging by a photo of a clone though.
chill with the childish forum attitude
take care
