Hello everyone for those who are new and didnt see my last grow, I
just finished my first grow Its been quite an experience and I have
to say, I think Ive become addicted to growing. I grew a Hashberry from
Mandala seeds from a clone a friend gave me in a 5 gallon Hempy bucket
(75% Perlite 25% Vermiculite) and a Kali-Dream by MOD seeds also in a 5
gallon Hempy bucket under a 400 watt light. I have a Stanley blower that I
moded as an exhaust fan that sucks hot air from the top of the room and
blows it out of the room and a box fan moving air around the closet. Heres
what the two turned out like:

Hashberry

Kali-Dream

Now I have 3 unknown sex Power Skunks from a friend in flower under the
400w and Im getting a veg cab with a 150w light hopefully by tomorrow. Ill
be back with a little more information about the grow and what I plan on
running this time and any other info I left out of this post. Feel free to ask
any questions, make any comments or talk about your grows here too. This
is where I come to slack off, relax and blow off some steam so feel free to
do the same Anywho I got a whole lot planed for this grow, lots of
different strains, a few room upgrades and a little breeding here and there

Alright, alright, alright! Guess I will start posting over here in hopes of getting this one off to a good start. Perpetual is great and you will no doubt love it. Its fun to be able to flower plants at the drop of a hat and its the best way to keep a stash going. Looking forward for good things to come.

Whoa, thanks for all the great comments everyone haha. Makes me really
want to do this right and get off to a good start I started all 10 of my
Adventurously Mixed Spice of Life seeds and 2 of my MOD BX to start this thing
off along with only one female power skunk and Im about to have 3 clones of
SSH and one of my clones of my Kali-Dream that Im gonna make into a mother
plant. Ill be back with more info and a few pics later tonight or tomorrow
morning and replies to yalls comments, I got some stuff I need to do now. I just
wanted to say thanks and let everyone know Ill be back with the promised info

Gracias arcticsun, your guess about the HB buds being tight is right
on; those things are like little rocks. Theyre smelling good and the stone is
improving all the time with the cure I love the Kali-Dream. She took a little
longer but from the test buds I took a week earlier were excellent. I cant
wait to sample some of the harvest. Shes actually 50% Sativa 50% Indica
(Pre '99 Kali-Mist x Dreamweaver) but this pheno was much more Sativa
looking than Indica. I cant wait to run some more clones of her and let her
go till shes totally done. Good to have ya lurkin bro, peace.

That last pic is my favorite too GreenIsGood and was my favorite cola
the entire grow (besides the main cola of course haha) I cant wait to smoke
that thing Thanks for the compliments. I got 158 grams from the
Hashberry alone and Im waiting for the Kali-Dream to finish drying so I can
get a weight on her. Unfortunately Ive already lost a couple g's to mold but I
think I got rid of all of it and shouldnt have any more problems (keep your
fingers crossed). Ill post the KD weight up on here and on the original thread
for anyone who's interested. Take it easy bro.

Im loving the Hempy buckets so far Capn. Passive hydro is the way to
go LOL Thanks for the compliments and welcome to the show dude.

Thanks greenpenguin. The only thing Im going to do differently this
run is use smaller Hempy buckets and grow the plants a little smaller so I can
fit more plants and more different strains in the flowering room. Ill probably
still LST though just because I find it addicting LOL. Also, Im going to try
keeping my Kali-Dream mom in a modified Hempy bucket with the bottom two
inches (to the drain hole) filled with pearlite and rest with promix and see
what the results are like. Oh also Im getting a 4" or 6" inline fan and an air
cooled hood for the 400w. I think thats everything but if its not Im sure Ill
remember to mention it later. Thanks for stoppin by man.


UPDATE:
First off, I took a trip to the grow shop the other day to stock up on some
more GH nutes and get a few other things and I decided to stop at a smoke
shop and pick up a new bong. Here she is, I like it alot.

It doesnt have a down stem which is kinda weird and is one of the reasons
why I bought it. Anyways back to the plants. Like I said earlier, I have 1
female Power Skunk out of 5 given to me, 10 AM Spice of Life seeds
germinating along with 2 Mist of Destruction BX (Pre '99 Kali-Mist x
Destroyer). Also I have 3 Super Silver Haze clones coming and 1 more
Kali-Dream clone that Im going to make into a mother plant. That ought to
be enough strains to keep me occupied for a while Now all I need to do is
go get my inline fan and air cooled hood for the 400w and Im going to use
the Stanley as an exhaust fan for the veg tent. I bought a 6" and 7" clip on
oscillating fan and stuck them in the veg tent to move some air around too. I
kinda neglected the Hashberry clone that I pollinated with White Widow
pollen for a while. She had to stay in a quarantine cabinet under a weak ass
fluorescent for a week and a half and then I hosed her down to sterilize any
remaining pollen and stuck her back under the 400w. All I need her to do is
produce her seeds. Thats about it, heres a few pictures of the seeds, plants
and the inside of the new veg tent:

first grow, damn mate.. props much better then me aswell fosho!

just a friendly tip, if the leaves on the plants are drooping down abit in the tips or clawing downwards then i am guessing its because you might be watering them with regular clean water. but normal water has ph 7.0, which is abit too high for the plant, so i always adjust the ph down to about 6.0 even when giving only water.

you can squeeze juice out of a lemon or use vinager if you dont have phdown or simply add a small dosage of nute acid to the water.

Supply grow tent. Somewhat lower quality than Homebox. It can be found at

arcticsun I was wondering for so long what the problem with the
Hashberry was once I started flushing her. I kept scratching my head and
trying to think of what the curled leaves could mean; I never once thought
of pH being the problem Its like you read my mind and answered
my question man LOL Thanks for the tip. Im definitely investing in a pH meter
and some pH up and down solution this time around and probably should
have had one last grow but you live and learn. I wish I could have you and
everyone else on here over to rip this bong. Id smoke yall out till you werent
physically able to smoke any more See ya around bro.

Whats up blunted skylin? Thanks for stoppin by and leavin some good
vibes The Hashberry alone weighed 158 grams, not counting about 12
grams or so of popcorn bud given away/smoked either before the whole plant
was down or before all of it was dry enough to weigh. Im still waiting on the
KD to finish drying so I can weigh her. Oh and 10 out of the 12 seeds have
already germed. Peace man.

Got some good news everyone... 8 out of the 10 SOL seeds sprouted in a
little less than 24 hours and so did a MOD, also one more of the SOL seeds
sprouted today Hopefully the other MOD seed and SOL seed will
sprout here in the next couple of days. I took the ones that had sprouted
and put them in some soaked peat pellets. Now their in a seedling tray in the
veg tent. So we should be seeing a few seedlings popping up here in the
next few days. Heres a picture of all the sprouted and one unsprouted SOL
seeds:

Oh yea and I forgot to post the dimensions of the veg tent I think. Anyways
its a HTG Supply Mother Keeper, 48 x 20 x 48. Peace.

hey myman, if i could be of any help then im glad buddy

..yea the key to a perfect grow is to keep the ph correct and stabile through the whole grow. you should definately buy a ph meter and atleast some ph up. the nutes will bring the ph down anyway.

just a tip if the ph pens are expencive and you cant afford em right away (a problem i often have hehe) then you can buy inexpencive ph liquid drop tests at your local zoo shop and probably also at the growstores aswell if you have any locally. they shouldnt cost more then max 10 dollars and they will last about 2 months i spose.

you should also get an EC meter, to measure the level of mineral salts (nutes) in the feeding solution and the runoff water. EC means electric conductivity, and it simply reads how much salts are in the water.

if you have one, but not a ph meter, then 0,3 EC of full nute solution will usually take the ph to around 6,0.
