Sour Bubble

So im growing out 3 sour bubble right now (along with many others) and these sour bubble look crazy, there so short and squat with huge fan leaves. I just put them on 12/12 so im hoping they stretch nicely. I've heard that sour bubble is usually ready after 49-55 days so im hoping by then these guys will be nice and big. usually i wait till my plants are a foot and a half before floweing them but this time i vegged for only 2 weeks before i switched. heres some pics















ill post more pics when i flwoer these guys but im really hoping i have one male and one female to make more seeds since bog seeds are so hard to come by now.

yeah i got these like 5 years ago. so they are the original and ive grown the lifesaver out before and its amazing! I have one original lifesaver plant growing right now too.

I remember looking at BOGs pictures of sour bubble on overgrow. I followed his posts around for days looking for pictures of his strains. I've always wanted to try both sour bubble and lifesaver, so you are really lucky! at least, i feel like you are. They're just slightly out of my price range right now, but hopefully i'll get my hands on some someday before all remaining stock disappears completely.

I wish you the best of luck, my friend. I look forward to seeing this pan out. After all, this strain has literally been at the top of my list for years. I can't wait to see those glistening flowers!

you say its out of your price range but as far as i know you cant buy them anywhere do you know somewhere to get them because they are definitley worth the money! the lifesaver I grew before from this same ten pack of seeds was one of the best plants ever and i cant wait to breed these sour bubble because it looks amazing and i want this to be around for a while since i know of nowhere to still get it.

in regards to the stretch, from what i have heard is they dont stretch much so you might want to veg longer next time. i have 5 going right now with 3 confirmed girls, hoping for the others to be males so i can throw some pollen around. good luck. peace and smoke to you

Hi floppy

I just popped a bunch of Sbs that I got several years ago. Im curious to know if you saw many deformities in your seedlings?.
Nearly every seedling i have has some mishapen leaves and unusual growth. They are growing at a good rate and seem healthy but initial growth has been odd. Ive had to do seed surgery on half to get the shell removed.

I hope things improve. Any thoughts?

hey floppy, if these are the original SB they are barely gonna stretch anything at all!!! I would def give them a couple more weeks of veg, and dont forget to take cuttings!

well silverback i havent noticed any deformities yet but i have heard that there notorius with this strain, also fari it is the original sour bubble so i guess after i make seeds with this round ill make sure to veg the next batch a couple weeks longer.

sour bubble seriously needs to be topped and vegged for a long time.....it doesnt stretch..its low yielding and if you flower it at that height it will just be a dum dum lollypop worth of bud at the end. i have a few bx4 going and i did see some abnormalities and semi mutant like differences between the plants in the seedling and early veg state but theyre in bloom now and all is well with normal growth. the mutations were the result of the inbreeding i imagine.

^^^^Tagged for the memories....Lifesaver used to be a staple in my runs until I shut down. I made about 100 seeds my first run so I never bothered to keep a clone somewhere when I shutdown. Seeds got destroyed by a vengeful female before the divorce....along with about 100 C99 X Lifesavers, and 200 SAG Bubbleberry seeds. I want to cry every time I think about it

An Update!

An Update!

Whats up guys, so of my 3 sour bubbles, 2 were male and one was female and i have one lifesaver male and one lifesaver female. the plan: BREED EM! But at the same time im gonna still to try yeidl a little bud by only pollenating some of the plant. If you check out the other thread you can see the pics of the progress they've made for whatever reason i cant post the pics on this thread right now. Anyway the lifesaver has grown like 3-4 times its original size already but the sour bubble still is pretty squat so im doing a lot of training with the both of them.

BIG UPDATE!

BIG UPDATE!

SO heres an update on the plants, first heres a cheese thats the same age as the sour bubble and the lifesaver.

now heres the lifesaver, look how big its gotten!

and the sour bubble, still small but shes a female and now i can use her to make more seeds!

Those babies are lookin damn stout, i had a 5 ft circumfrence sour bub from a pack that bog blessed me with. those things go to liker 55 60 days but have such an indica stone , beware once you toke it youll definitely be seated in place for a while

damn, any pics. id love to have that much sour bubble. was it original or the sb 3 though? also i notice the name hindu kush master, i used to grow hindu kush and white widow my first year and i made a bunch of bomb ass crosses that i still grow out now. 2 great strains when mixed.
