Guerrilla gold

Hey everybody, whats up? I just got a few G.G. seeds and was wondering if anybody knew much about this strain. I could only find a limited amount of info on it. Some people are calling it an autoflowering strai around 8 weeks but i thought autos had to have ruderalis in them. Does this strain have ruderalis in it?

i believe it does have ruderalis in it, but not all autoflowering plants have ruderalis in them.

some landrace sativas autoflower and they're definitely not hiding any ruderalis in them. Check my gallery to see an autoflowering oaxacan highland sativa if you're so inclined.

hope this helps

Really? I have a bunch of landrace sativas from africa, are any of them auto flowering? They were a gift from a guy that lives right in Durban, I will be keeping that hook up, you can believe that. I have started a few already and they have a strong smell at seedling stage, when the stem is rubbed.

I got them from a private breeder that's also a friend, why? Using your first post to ask a strange question isn't a great idea but I'LL LET YA PASS THIS TIME. Welcome to icmag!!

how is what he asked a strange question. I don't get it. Maybe he was asking because he wanted to know a place to get the strain.

Honestly, I have grown this stuff two years in a row; seeds originally from Greens friend at unleash the green...Mr. Clone was his name.

It is seriously strong. I have smoked weed since 1974, and no other strain has effected my memory like GG. I will grow it again, mainly for a friend who loves it, but at my age, shttp://www.icmag.com/ic/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=600296&ppuser=45434imulated alzheimers is not funny.

i see what the bro means by strange with the guy asking about where you got something on a first post...you know its a paranoid game of cat and pig we play in the garden.

Well, i don't know but i'd be happy to find out for you ;) Just send me a handful

but in all seriousness, depending on how many plants you weeded through, you could possibly find one.

dig through the revival of the ultimate sativa thread and you might be able to find out.

GG isnt auto flowering but just very photo sensitive.
this goes for most early flowering varieties as well
they can be hard to keep as mothers as they tend to go into flower for awhile being kept at 28/6 or 24/0 but in many cases its possible with a stress free environment with large pots and plenty of N.
i havent grown GG yet but i have some GG#2 around and im going to grow GGxDanish Passion this year out in corn fields

as for exeriences with early genetics some of them starts flowering as soon as the daylight hours goes around 16 hours or so
this is the case with Royal Dane, Leb27, Danish Passion and other early danish genetics and from what ive heard from ppl growing GG's at my latitude its about the same with GG
when daylight hours reach 16 hours of light a day they start flowering and is ready for harvest from start to end September
so judged from what ive heard from other Nordic growers i would estimate that GG also starts its flowering circle at 16 hours here for a September harvest

other more exotic strains start their flowering cycle at 14 hours and some even at 12 hours, making them all the late finishing here as they would go into November or even December and dont survive the cold rainy weather with frost

my estimate is that 1. of November would be the latest for a strain to finish here but im no expert on this and havent grown strains OD that finished later then mid October
but if we said start November finish for an 8 week strain it would have to start its flowering at apr 13,5 to 14 hours of daylight here in the beginning of September
http://www.jgiesen.de/daylight/
choose your country or a city or capital near you or enter the coordinates by hand
then go into upper left corner and choose Hours/day
then you can see the daylight hours for each day/month all year and estimate harvest dates and define how many hours a strain needs to start flowering based on known harvest dates for your country or region

I am also gonna try GG2 and manitoba medicine.

Seems perfect for here. It's just such a difference to be able to harvest weed that flowered in the summer. And since i am too lazy to induce flowering myself by puttting them on 12/12 schedule this strain is perfect for me.

Thsi year outside only frisian dew and GG and manitoba.

if it autoflowers there's always a chance there's some ruderalis in it.

I've got some GG x DP vegging right now for OD this year. My power went out 2 days ago for about 5 hours, and i freaked out because everyone said how photosensitive it is (i also have Leb27 and Early Durban in there)...

But they're all fine, and vegging, and not showing sex yet. I dont know if that helps anyone, just a personal experience

Arcticblast, GGxDP is the seeds im going for this summer as well, you got them from DCF? I wonder if there is a big difference between the 06\07\08 version, I wonder which traits they have breed for, if any. I think i'll get a pack of each and do some backcrossing to find the desired phenos

good luck :)

the breeder behind ggxdp is Esbe, a very experienced grower
even Greenz who created guerrilla gold has said many good things about his ggxdp cross

im going to be be running a 100+ ggxdp f3 grow insides cornfields this year and im sure it wont let me down

a matter of fact is i cant barely wait :)
