NEED ADVICE ON AN OPTIMAL SETUP FOR DR150

So far my idea is to use a growzilla dual bulb reflector with a lumatek dual 600

600 MH

600 HPS

im planning on using this fan

http://www.growerssupply.com/farm/s...haust_fans-gs1_duct_fans;ad541b1e_CF1400.html

with a carbon filter inside the tent pulling air from then tent thru the
scrubber -> hood -> out of tent

the tent is 4'11"x4'11"X6'7" 25 sq. ft.

the tent is in a room 160 sq. ft.

My problem is I dont want to cut a hole in the ceiling to vent..

can i just recirculate my air?

My houses A/C kicks on about once an hour which will help

How costly would it be to just buy a small A/C that recirculates my tents air?

Please give me your advice on the setup and my parts.

thanks in advance :joint:

I would go with a sun system10 1k hps ballast , a 1k hortilux(for flower), and use a 400w (cmh for veg or you can use the HPS all the way but its a waste of power)

then i would use a 6 inch carbon filter (at least 40Lb) and a 6 inch vortex fan for jsut the carbon filter....

then i would use a 6 inch vortex for coolign your 1k .... the dual hood setups are over priced and over rated... and they put of a shit ton more heat than a 1k will.... you can pull 2lbs with a 1k so just stick with it.

Thanks NorCal!

anyone else got any ideas ??

cmon' gimme your :2cents:

:yeahthats

thats probably the best way to do it, another option would be a smaller tent like a dr 120 with a 600 but it will probably end up costing about the same with less yeild..

dr 80 with a 400w and 4" fans and cf is cheap and u can get a decent yeild....and save money by using one ballast for about 500 bucks u could get a dr 80 with 2x 4 inch vortex a goood a/c hood a ballast and bulb and all and still get about a half pound if u play your cards right.

I'm planning on getting a smaller hut (3x3 which ends up being about 40"x40") and will start off with 1 600 and the dual ballast and later upgrade to dual 600's.

I got the inspiration from TexasKid. He describes his system in http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=82031 from page 2 onward.

The whole thread has some good information though.

I like your idea about using the DR-80 and I was just wondering about how many full grown plants you could fit in one of those units. And would 1 400w cmh light be enough?

as many plants as you can fit in a 2x2 tray. yes 400w cmh would be plenty of light, i prefer hps for flower though, id use cmh for veg and first 2 weeks of flower then bring it back out last week of flower
