5 month tincture

here i have a bottle of golden grain with kief leaftrim and some popcorn buds that i started in aug then i cooked it down halfway then i put it back in the bottle and added more goodies and filled the bottle back up with more grain in oct..now its feb i think im gonna cook it down to a nice oil and see what im working with...

I wouldn't go all the way to oil. I'd reduce it down to about 25% of original volume, and take it as an actual tincture, by the tablespoon. Awesome high, lasts 12-14 hours. Well, mine did at any rate.

However, it's going to taste like devil piss. Mine was just about a 10 minute soak, and it was hideous. The resin is taken in by the alcohol almost instantly, so you really need no longer than you would for an iso run, about 30 seconds - 2 minutes. Longer the alcohol is in contact with the buds, the more crap is drawn out as well. Chlorophyll, etc., that makes it taste nasty, whether you're smoking oil or taking tincture.

Go for the tincture, you'll love it, but it will taste like dragon piss.

Hi Excalib,

as Nightiger said, you'd just need 1 or 2 minutes and *less if you crush your pot fine* to disolves thc resins or "thrichomes" in the pure or 90% alcool.

it'll not have a lot of taste if you do not reduce it but you can flavour it with some fruit extracts or spices and use it like a psycho-drink mixed with fuits juices or soft-drinks. the result will be stronger in taste and darker in color if you let the alcool evaporate a few days until the exepected consistance is obtained ( put the liquid in a large-open container like a big soup plate for example for quicker evaporation), don't let all the alcool evaporate totaly or you'll have to scrap the sticky glue and it's not easy !!!
to smoke it, i usualy evaporate a few dayz at room temp and after that i purge with a hot water bassin below my plate for 30min to an hour and it's cristal!!!

color may vary with the strain or/and quality of basis product ( bud trim, stem trim, straight budz...hé hé...) from the light golden clear ( i mean very clear), to the darke red or green.

the result is always very potent and if you warm-purge it well, no alcohol traces inside the stuff , for sure.

i took nitetigers advise and i cooked it down to fit my spray bottle and after a couple of squirts i can feel it slowly creeping up on me...im gonna wait till i have empty stomach and not puff anything to get a real report

I always dosed mine by the tablespoon, like cough medicine, although I see no reason why you couldn't reduce it down to spray effectiveness.

In fact, I've made one batch that I probably SHOULD have dosed by the spray
