OK so I stumbled onto this thread being the curious cat that i am, I have a basic understanding of how this works (just cuz Im not a dumbass) I just wanted to get some opinions on what its all about. also where could I look to order one... and could i make one if i have a bong?

Can anyone please tell me where i can get one of these titanium pieces. I have all the glass parts, just need the titanium "pad". I have seen titanium strips on ebay, and simply am not sure if its the right kind. It is 6Al-4V titanium. Is that appropriate for our purposes.
Someone please help.

HMK If your backed up I wouldn't wanna put more on your plate but do you know where I could acquire a bell bowl like that? I'm very capable of adding a titanium piece but I haven't seen a bowl like that at any of my local head shops. Or if anything what are they commonly called? I've tried searching online a bit but I've only turned up a few people in other forums that already have one not someone trying to sell one. Thanks.

I use a heat gun and a glass bong to vape. I place whatever I'm smoking in the bowl. Then I put another screen on top. That's important, you don't want the heat gun blowing your gear out of the bowl. LOL, don't ask how I know that. I use a concentrator nozzle on the heat gun to narrow the airstream down to about the size of a dime. But that's not absolutely necessary.I heat on high for about 3 seconds, then switch to low and slowly take a pull on the bong. If you overheat it, no biggie. If you do overheat it you are smoking instead of vaping.

You'll know you are vaping if when you exhale it's more like mist or fog than smoke. Also, the taste will be much stronger. More minty if you are smoking herb and more spicy if its hash.
