Hydro plant wilting like crazy

My plant is wilting and losing leaves fast. They could all be gone in a couple days. I was thinking it might be root rot due to too high a water level or MAYBE overferting (only using Pure Blend Pro Bloom-Soil and Pure Blend Pro Grow-Hydro) at too high a temp for the res. I say maybe because I've never had a problem with high temps or PBP overferting. They were fine 3-4 days ago when I was half assing it and the res dropped quite low. This is a bubbler/DWC grow with a 150w HPS. Vegged for too long from seed (probably around 2 months). I did some searching and decided to try soaking the root mass in H2O2, and might try replacing the res with straight water(I use tap). Pics up soon.

get some regen-a-root it worked very well for my friends rotten roots, there was lots of white lateral roots growing straight out the brown roots within a couple of days mind you I don't know if yours is too far gone never had root rot.

Ewww... yea light leaks, root rot, and high water temps.

I'm pretty sure it's not light leaks or high water temps; they've been fine the whole time until I topped off the res up to within 2-3 inches from below the top of the root mass. It was tap water with 1 tablespoon per gallon of PBP bloom-soil(not hydro, I know, but it worked fine before). I've now soaked the root mass in H2O2 for 10 min(is this long enough?) and replaced the res with just water and a bit of H2O2 at a low level. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not available in my area, and I don't want to overnight some just to save one bagseed plant.

Looks like she's drowned.....

Yeah, that's what I'm guessing, or hoping. I thought it would be fine with the decent amount of bubbling on the root mass, but I suppose I was wrong. Yesterday I lost quite a few leaves, and I suspect the same will happen tonight. Leaves loosened up where they connect to the stem pretty fast.

reduce the depth of your res. flush with pure water. those brown roots are either rotten or stained cos of the soil nute you used. a light solution of hydrogen peroxide (very light) may help.

Actually, they don't stink at all. Kinda like carrots. Towards where the top of the rootmass that is now out of water, it smells just slighly like piss, as one would expect of anything wet(maybe?). Anyway, the condition seemed to worsen. Noticabely droopier, but she looks like she has a chance, so I'll see if she can ride it out. Even if 80% of the big leaves go, I'll probably keep it if the budsites/new growth looks relatively healthy. I only grow for myself and don't smoke much(< ounce per month). Within the next 2 days I should know its fate.

Add another bubbler in the res ASAP. I'd also add some beneficials, even Serenade. But your plant is far gone... it's losing water through transpiration faster than its damaged roots can replace it. If you are able to cut back on your light just a bit (raise it a few inches), that will slow down water loss.

It might smell like piss because some organic soil nutes contain a Urea based N source. Those roots do look bad IMHO. What's the pH and ppm of that solution? A salty solution can dehydrate a plant even if its roots are submerged in a water base.

You can mist down the canopy to reduce moisture losses, or even cover it with a plastic bag. Do something until you can get enough air to the roots again. When things go wrong in hydro they can go wrong way fast!
