I need temp advise PLEASE HELP!

Hello, I have a room at a friends house and havnt been by in a few weeks to see him untill yesterday. The temps were way to high and he didn't do anything to change it. We are in 7 weeks of flower of a10+ week strain. The buds looked like they just started to grow(real small and scraggly). I got the temps down to75 now. Does anyone know of it's too late? Is it possible they would take longer to flower? This really sucks! Any advise??

That doesn't sound too promising. I think your plants have most likely missed the boat. Hope thats not what happens but it sounds that way to me.

Each strain is different, but most will have obvious bud sites by the 4th to 5th week for sure. You need to weigh your options. You can either try to salvage this grow and get a less-than-ideal harvest, or you can scrap the plants and start over.

Sounds to me like the second option is your best bet. Without more information, it's hard to say. Your profile says that you live in the midwest, so I'm assuming that you have access to cold air. Try to check on the grow in person if you're at all invested in the operation. If you can't be there, I'd get a good temp controller and make use of the cold air that's outside right now.

You can't have it both ways. Either grow a location that you can check up on regularly or set up your environment so that it's self-sufficient when you're gone. Preferably do both. Otherwise it may not be worth growing it at all considering that there's so much risk involved and your chances of getting a worthwhile return are so low.

when i had a sleeping bag deviding my room my plants were in 12/12 for like two months and not a sign of flowering. once i went in there i noticed it was still just light enough to see what was in there and where i was. it was dark, but not real dark. once i put roofing felt down in front of the sleeping bag it was completely dark. i couldn't see squat. the plants all started flowering in a week. yours will be okay IF THAT is what happened.

(as Herb bows his head in a moment of silence for the stressed out ladies) I was gonna ... But I said "Nawwwww" ... I mean ... I have a few ideas ... but seriously ... where would I start ??? A few weeks being far too long to be heat stressed ... at a "friends" ... drunken gardening ... this has Disaster written All Over It. Well ... I do have a little advice ... First off ... Cut some new clones from well fed/not stressed moms or start some new seeds ... then take some pics of your ailing ladies ... then ... start some threads on "Why Temperature Control Is Important" and "How Long Is Too Long Away From Your Garden" ... your wispy, underdeveloped nug pics should be proof enough to scare some newbs into Not making those mistakes. Chalk it up to a lesson you learned by trial and error ... so others don't have to ...
