I watched this movie last night for the first time in years. I got stoned and laughed all night at Clint spitting tobacco on everything that annoyed him. He spits that slime on dogs, people, dead people. Everything.

Is it just my sick sense of humor or does anyone else laugh like hell when he does that?????

LOL! I watched that movie last night too! I have it on DVD, and seen it tons, but I still sat down and watched it again, commercials and all.

The Tobacco spitting is very funny, it shows Jesse's attitude toward a given object/person immediately! This movie has tons of good Clint Eastwood one liners.

I'm pretty sure this is my second favorite Clint Eastwood western(after Unforgiven), Dirty Harry:Sudden Impact being one of my favorite non-westerns. I still have not gotten out to see his latest movie, I've heard it is good.

clint eastwood is great, and wasn't this on a&e or something like that??? maybe the history channel... i swear i saw it on tv before i went to sleep last night...
josey wales is definitely one of eastwoods best films.. i grew up watching a lot of his westerns (among others...) with my grandparents and this was one i liked a lot.

Just saw this, lol. it was on the History Channel! they even had a guy that talked with historical experts about the context of place and time, immediately following the Civil War.
