Right on. went there this mornin, they actually open up on saturdays at 8:30, they had everything but DCSC(good thing I kept a mother!) And said the spring menu will have 2-3 new strains and they will discontinue some of the older ones(ak47) new strains are a blueberry pheno from dj shorts gear and 707 headband. Should be in about a month...

Are they getting rid of Hindu Skunk? That would suck, It did great for me up in the higher elevation. Finished 1st week of october and was such a huge yielder!!!!! Anybody know anywhere else to get this strain in case they stop carrying it? My season is really short can't go outside until june 1st. So i don't usually get my clones until end of april.

maybe we should petition for them to keep the hindu skunk. Its an all around good strain which has been a staple for me.

I finally decided to retire the Purple Kush from my lineup. I just got tired of the weed.
I'll try to offer my own smoke report for the SR-71...
First, it's plenty good weed, but in the end I give it high marks for looks, but not such high marks for the high.
Although smoking any one type of pot can lead to tolerance issues, I find that the PK gets old faster than most smokes. I can smoke PK for 7-10 days at most before it starts taking ALOT of PK to get me high. That's not true with some other smokes I've grown out.
Also, the taste of my cured PK is kind of dark and chocolately, rather than fresh and vibrant.
As for the high of PK itself, it's just kind of a bland high. I'm not saying it's bad, because it's not, but the high just doesn't hit the right notes with me. It doesn't leave me soaring, but it doesn't knock me out on the couch, either. It just kind of gets me half-high and half-stoned, and the quality of the high doesn't have much nuance or style.
In the end, the PK is a beautiful plant to grow, and a nice weed to look at in the bag. It gets you plenty stoned, but there's just not a lot of "there" there. I'm not saying it's crappy, because it's not, but I've grown better.
I remember the Flo clones that they used to sell at Mission Street Caregivers in S.F. That stuff was tough to grow and it didn't produce much and didn't even look all that great in the bag, but that Flo was an exciting, unique high that kept me coming back for more.
Anyway, the SR-71 PK might be a great plant for someone else, but for me, I've moved on. I'll be the first one in line for a DJ Short Blueberry, though!

That is good news about querkle, I was skeptical due to my jtr mix up.
I have some Querkel ready to go,just a few.
I donated the best ones to a couple of growers who sell to the dispensaries.
I will probably get some cuts back from them in the future.
How does it compare to Purple Erkel? Erkel ,yields great for me,does the Querkel have a good yield?

I am going to research it.
I haven't smoked it yet,but It seems to have a big following.
Is this a big yield strain or lower yield like gdp?
Any clue what the other new strains will be @ Blue sky?
I saw that blueberry was on the list. Finally! lol
I had huge buds from blueberry in the past,maybe the highest yield too.
The Long lasting buzz and flavor of blue berry makes it worth it alone.imho
Very leafy when it comes to trimming.Lot's of work at harvest time,but it is worth it.lol
Running the bubble gum now and out of a cube of 6 I have 4 squat dark green with fat colas.... than there are the 2 tall skiny pole like.... the tall 2 have had problems with going yellow?...... the 4 squat ones have had problems with powder mildew... where as the tall 2 in the same room have had no sign of the PM?

No offense LHP but they don't have 707 head band in blue sky yet. You might be getting them in so cal but you are not getting them from blue sky. Which is what this thread is about. Blue sky is in oakland not so cal. I'm curious to what the story is behind blue sky clones in so cal. Maybe someone could shed some light on this. Specifically on why they have better prices and availability compared to the bay area, the heart of the movement.
