Oakseeds, Thanx for the r+. Of all the BS stains, my least fav is Bubblegum. First, it herms a ton. The buds grow large and fat, but they dry down very airy and unimpressive. krystals are eh, smell rocks, but flav is just ok. If ur not concerned with yield, its a pain in the
My fav BS strain to grow is the DCxSC which I run 70-80 in a table with no veg and almost no training. Tastes like meat, relaxing high.
My fav to smoke (2nd fav to grow) is the AK. Let it cure for 3-4 weeks and it tastes like chardonnay, or fresh grapes. It's a trippy high that doesnt hit me till I stop smoking

Oakster- looks like a healthy bean in the bottom of your dried nug...thats good & bad, no?

Im not pullin anything, just started flower cycle. I use cal/mag, and all sorts of stuff (check my grow page). I'll just grow them to the best of my ability, see how it comes out. Thanks alot for all the great advice

What are you using to collect your kief? I've been using Bubble Bags, but after a while bubble hash just looks like wet poo. I'd rather go with some kind of dry seive and I'd like to know what you use.

Also, that DCxSC looks every bit as frosty as mine. Are you satisfied with the buds themselves? I found the DCxSC buds to be leafy and airy, so I'd like to hear your impression of the buds on DCxSC.

Here's a picture of mine that I cut down about two weeks ago. It produced a lot of bubble hash.

I just replaced my 192 watts of T5 fluoros with a vertical 150w HPS. Already the buds are fattening up under the HPS.

As a complete side note, I want to recommend Grower's Choice in San Leandro for your equipment needs. That place has a lot of stuff in stock, and they seem pretty helpful and cool about things. Anyway, that's the place where I get the least "attitude" and the most help...

These are cloned from the the same mother, fed from same resevoir, placed the
same distance from the same lightbulb and even ventialation is consistent...
the only thing that isnt is the amount of spidermites and it seems that this
difference in stress has cuase these two identical plants to flower a diff color!

These babies were pulled on Tuesday after 10 weeks... this is @ 9 weeks... under 150w

Krakatoa, I use the S&M industries keif box available at the OCBC. After keifing it as long as I had patience for, it was still more krystally than anything I can buy at the clubs, so I made pretty potent budder next.
I didnt have a prob with the buds, mine were hard and round. The hardest part of trimming was removing all that sugar leaf, and the nugs weigh heavier than they look. Your trichs look pure white, i'd let it go a little longer, but I've never grown under floros. I would chalk the dif in buds and color to the floro lights. HPS lights add red light that adds to the ripening. These were pulled at 55 days. How old is the one in that first pic?

Bulldog11,That was an f2 seed and was intentional,not selfed not hermi,Part of a seed project.lol But still fun to look at blown up in zoom.
I wouldn't let out something that self seeded.lol Any plants that show signs of problems get pulled from the program and destroyed.Why take chances? I will scrap a whole strain if it doesn't deliver. I also mark anything untested as beta test seeds as a disclaimer.I have some real pros helping me now,and the last thing I want to do is make people upset. The first big production run of seeds should be out this Summer,(not sure which strain yet)But they will all be freebies of course.They will go to the Oaksterdam clubs first,and what is left I will give as freebies to (seedbay?) maybe.So anyone from IC MAG can have them if they want. I don't want any money from IC members.But I would like feedback and pics If you get my beans.How many is enough for IC Mag users? would 2,000 -3,000 (100 breeders packs) seeds be enough to go around the first time?It would help me plan if I had a number to start with.Are breeder packs of 20-30 seeds each okay or to they need to be growers packs of 6-12 seeds each? Can some one tell me how I donate to the auction?thankyou

some strains I will pick the pheno I like and make F2 seeds of that pheno. Then I can make the breeders pack with 20 F1's and 10 F2's in a separate bag.
This gives the breeder a choice to pick from or cross the f1 and f2 if they choose to work it further.I also include a cd that has a photo grow diary as a visual reference tool. I hope to get time lapse videos of all the grows eventually to include with the seeds.But that is some time away and pics will have to suffice for now.Got any tips on time lapse videos.I am always willing to learn something new,if someone has the patience to teach me.lol

I too have noticed vast differences in the identical(lol) clones of JtR.

I posted the pic of the short and medium (let's call it VARIETY) not phenotypes of my Jack the Ripoff,I mean ......JACK THE RIPPER.lol the short ones have now hermied on me and I have lots of micro seeds in utero.lol I cut some of those hermi branches off the short girls and I am taking them to blue sky tomorrow.Guess what my first question will be...................WTF?!!!!!!!!!!! 2nd question will be, is this going to be fixed? 3rd question,Will you compensate me for time and medicine lost on this grow?at this stage the tall jtr looks very nice but it doesn't look like 8-9 weeks finish,more like a 10 week strain,Did yours finish up fast? (I am sorry,you already said ten weeks didn't you.)You didn't mind paying for the extra 2 weeks of electricity did you?You also didn't mind waiting 25 % longer than you planned on to get this batch of meds did you? You really did not care that your plants had different colored buds and maybe different yields right? I mean you are a laid back kind of guy who just enjoys the thrill of a mystery crop and you don't plan your crop based on the info provided in the brochure!lol It would be funnier If I wasn't so pissed about being misled by the brochure.(SHORT PLANT THAT FINISHES 8-9 WEEKS)I have been following all of your grow pics and reports on this strain,as you were about a month ahead of my grow.Please post a harvest report.Quality and yield. Micropro,looks like the dscs I grew,I am going to do a full grow of dcsc next run.

I made some Iso oil from the trim and popcorn,It was FANTASTIC!!!

I love this strain,it worked great for pain too.Big Up to TOM HILL !!!!

Damn y'all... I couldn't be bothered to read all the posts (especially the super long ones lacking paragraphs) so I apologize if it's already been covered. I'm thinking... if you've got that much beef with a particular dispensary, why keep going there only to continue complaining about 'em?

OAKSTERDAMSEEDS, wouldn't all this time have been better spent @ Harborside instead for the free grams they give out? Seems like you have some excellent ideas on what genetics to offer and at what prices, perhaps you should start vending.

If you are offering me a job you may already have my phone number,I just got a job for another dispensary delivering meds,I will start as soon as they fix up their internet menu.lol I have no interest in making money off of sick people( but I can't live off of nothing),I will let the Gov.and big pharmaceutical companies get rich off the sick and dying.lol.Maybe I am the only guy who isn't trying to make a quick buck in our community.lol

I am surviving off of care packages and anything my friends can spare until harvest.Some of the people I work with sell trays though and I would get my gear from them,but most of it is too skunky for my grow setup.

I gave away a lot of breeders packs a few weeks ago so it may show up at the clubs for sale,but I won't see a dime of it.I will let my new friends sell the trays if they want to.That "is" their business not mine.
My job is to get seeds to people that want them,need them,or can't afford to gamble on foreign seed banks.So what if I don't make a dime.

thats how my buddy's Querkle is and I thought it was different moms but clones from good looking ones ended up herming and changing structure I think the strain was rushed out due to the purple craze

Went to Blue sky today,I brought in pics of the JTR grow and the branches that hermied,Larry told me not to stress and they would take care of me and fix it.I just want 2 cubes of dcsc for my next grow.I am even willing to pay the $100.00 difference in clone price.

Like I said before,this is just a bump in the road NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.lol

The JTR big buds are looking very promising.It is just the short plants that have problems.

I am just disappointed in the short ones only and I would run the tall ones again for sure.

JTR has pink trichomes too! I can't wait to keif it and take pics.I will see if I can make pink oil.yum yum

Can I get a replacement voucher for my JtR? I dont have room in my garden for untested unproductive stuff. Thats why I went to Blue Sky in the first place.

I drove dove from Placerville to get there at opening. And there was nothing available but HS and JtR and one block of PK that was unrooted that I got for $10per cause I thought it was SOOOOO special.

There is NO telling what you get when you buy from other club with various vendors. I saw the MarijuanaINC special with Blue sky talking about their numbers.

Now I'm actually PISSED really. Guess its my fault for trusting humanity, again, some more. I'm really not talking shit here, I see an OBVIOUS difference in the overall health and growth rates of their gear. I might be somewhat of a nube but I know when right isnt right. This gives me negative vibes and I just wont have that in my garden.

I'm gifting (not that I can even remotely afford to, its vibe and principle until they shape up) my Blue Sky cuts to my friend with MS tomorrow and hoping for the best for the future of the Nursery and their quality and service. His awesome karma will surely turn those girls from runts to raging.

Looks like I am in the Keif making biz myself now.lol

Half of my med crop (JtR )hermied like crazy.I can't spot any nanners,but all the short girls have totally gone to seed,Billions of baby seeds all useless to me(can't breed with them obviously).LOL I am yanking them tonight.At least there is Tons of resin that won't go to waste

Tall plants looking great and the big buds are starting to swell!


I learned how to water cure here at IC,so I will water cure it all for a week,dry it and keif it.Jack the ripper has pink trichomes (GROOVY) so it will be some nice looking sand.

I will have some meds before harvest too this way.Yeah

So there is a silver lining after all.lol and Larry at blues sky said they would help me.

I have peace of mind now and daddyhaze set me straight on the Beans that were cracked. I will be okay with the amount I harvest this time.

I Will Survive.

I love the dcsc, awesome meds that worked great for pain! Fun smoke too!
