Thanks man. Yeah I was thinking of cutting 3 inches on those legs. Or I can raise the bucket as well.. Started training again. Took the outermost branches and started training them more outward.

I had no idea stripping all the foliage like that would encourage branching. I was surprised to see how fast they bounce back from an agressive trimming like that. Very interesting.
I especially like the plant from your previous soil grow. She is beautiful. Did you use similar pinching training methods on that plant as well?

Yes I worked with a Greek fellow a while back and we started a small project. A side by side to learn from each other. He didn't know about the pinching and I didn't know about the pruning... I'll see him remove 99.9 percent foliage and the next day they were 30 percent returned. This plays two parts: 1 Branching 2 Root Generation. Every time I've done this - the next week I notice 20 - 25 percent more root matter. The bigger your roots than the better it will be for you come flower. They'll suck it all up. You get more branches because of light penetration and you get more roots because the demand for new cell structures which demand more food. So I like to think of this as a preconditioning to the real work which becomes production in flowering. Nonetheless I start pinching on the 3rd or 4th node depending on stem thickness and plant height. Once I pinch a node I move along and wait for the next new node to pinch. Eventually the side branches catch up with the main top and they grow together. The branches on the side branches will eventually give that umbrella look with this method. They are quite a few whom disagree with this and feel that hermaphrodism will follow if not reverse it completely but these plants are used to conditions that we can't even begin to understand. Look at what animals put them through and at the end of it all they become stronger by healing and produce more. But that root system man - that's the money.

Well I had some pics for you guys and gals today but the photo area seems to be offline. Beginning to think that this is something I'm going to have to learn to get used to. LoL, now how many times did I type the word "to"? Anyways once it's up I'll add them in for you. A little retraining again because the branches were way too clustered so a better spread all around.

dude those roots are soooo white,for some reason mine are brown and gnarly lookin the guy at the hydro shop said the roots would get brown but damn i wish all mine looked like that
