Anyone else flower yet. I flowered 22 beuties and have found them all to be a very leafy pheno. Is this the norm you guys are seeing? Im harvesting in 60 days +/-. That said trimming is a butch (definaely not a commercial strain unless you mexican labor) but once cleaned up its definately decent smoke just leafy. I used a mollasses cocktail which pretty much turned all foliage white with crystals so all is good but still curious how others did

Looks like cabbage leaf ,real round in veg,during veg get alot skinnier leaf then turnoing to a wider leaf in flower. quite the plant to grow,kinda fun to watch. My old gallery has some pics but do not know how to post them.

My old gallery has a couple I did as well. I was not a fan of the Mazar and it didnt make it to round 2. Fat buds with a lot of leafiness for sure. Mine all turned pretty with orange hairs but the smoke was about mid grade as far as potency goes. Easy and breezy grower though that gave me no issues in the room.

Chitown - Yeah I would call it mid grade but it is hard to compete with the Purple Kushes, GDP's, Chemdog's, and such of the world. Decent smoke just not my thing. I think this would be a great strain to learn to grow with. Easy and no real problems to worry about like with other strains.

@gunnarguchi , i have grown the mazar from dutch passion which is supposed to be afghan mazar crossed with a bit of skunk for the flavor.

It finished half october where i live , gets mold but u will be able to harvest enough

rainman, did you try curing it for awhile? I grew some kandahar last year that had no stone til it had cured for 2 months, then BAMMM.

HashAssassin - I didn't cure it for that long before trying it and making up my mind. I will be honest with you. It really wasn't bad like I said it just wasn't what I was looking for. Good cash cropper tho and again nice sweet smoke just not all that strong imho. She coulda been totally different smoke after 2 months tho.

hey guys, just popped 3 seeds. i agree that its hard to compete with the purple kushes and chemdogs of this world, as i sit here smoking super snow dog. i had high hopes for this strain but decent smoke = not in my garden. if it aint dank it dont stay in my bank.

I got these as freebies and everyoen was thinknig they were gonna be so good since it's a landrace and all... turns out it's not all cracked up to be.

You definately get high. Im talking MIS freebie. It finished with purple tops and very resionous. However alot of leafs. I actually am still flowering a few just to see how they do at 70 or 75 days. The buds good just very dense and leafy. But as far as high. Youll get high and damn high at that.

Ya, that was me, there is a pheno that doesn't get you high. I grew out a clone just to be sure of it, nothing, but I did get really hungry.

I kept another plant that is a serious cash cropper, but like was mentioned here it's not all that great of a high. All phenos were way too leafy for my liking.

I crossed the best male with my best female, have a couple hundred seeds, haven't gotten to them yet. May be a while since I am not all that excited about it other than the monster yields I think are possible with the strain.

Curing your buds can make all the differance. I've flowered out several strains that on drying did not make much of an impression. I put them away for lack of anything to do with it short of shovin it in the woodstove, and 2 to 3 mos. later gave some away telling them it wasnt very good and it didn't do anything for me. Well they smoked it and said it was great! So I went back to the closet and tried it again and don't ya know it was great! I've gone through that several times, so now I never ever judge a bud without curing first. I've thrown away excellant mothers due to testing non cured weed. Big, big mistake. live and learn, Grunt
