How to grow the most and be Prop215 legal

W

Whatever

Edit: Also, would tincture count against your allowed weight? Or just dry bud?
I wouldn't touch tinctures or concentrates if growing...just not worth it IMO. Also know of peeps that were written recommendations for 32 plants...most I've ever seen...don't or can't remember what the total weight recommended was but still that 32 count stuck with me.

Why wouldn't you touch tinctures or concentrates when growing? Tincture is my new favorite thing for my pain, easy to dose, and lasts all day. Also, much better for you than smoking.

If trying to stay 'legal' med would not have that stuff in the house at this time...if not med then doesn't matter except harsher punishment. I've seen very much 'legal' med peeps have the legal ball start rolling against them for a small amount of concentrate...that's why. If you're a black market grower, regardless of the state, then doesn't matter really cause you're still basically fucked.

So concentrates aren't allowed under the MMJ laws in Cali? That's about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. "Let's allow people access to cannabis for medical use, but only allow them to use it in the most unhealthy way possible"

But didn't someone earlier in this thread mention edibles and topical applications? Those are concentrates, why are they allowed?

Comes down to the fact that the entire scene has soooooo much GRAY AREA. We all know that concentrates are still medicine. It goes back to their definitions. And in recent history they have not been making the differentiation between a simple higher dosage of med's and what they are calling a schedule 3 narcotic/concentrate. They clubs are starting to carry it more and more, but again it falls in the gray area, so just be advised. I cant sleep well without some proper concentrates. I need them. But I surely dont like to travel with them.

Until we demand clear and concise regulations we are going to be at the mercy of those who will bend the rules to their agenda. Happy and safe use, however you use it.
Peace

00420 your brother must have had a good fucking lawyer. Keep us posted on how that turns out if you can it would be good info to have. I hope everything works out for him.

Staying under 99 is definetly a good rule of thumb. So if something happens you don't have to worry about them turning the case over to the feds.

The main thing of course is being able to prove the amount you have is reasonable for you current medical needs. I don't know how your supposed to go about doing that, but I'm sure there's a procedure.

Hash and edibles are covered under 215 according to the AG guidelines.

Here's from canorml.org. In the attorney generals clarifications to prop 215 hash is considered to fall under prop 215.

WHAT OFFENSES HAVE A MEDICAL EXCEPTION?
Prop. 215 explicitly covers marijuana possession and cultivation (Health and Safety Code Sections 11357 and 11358) for personal medical use. Hashish and concentrated cannabis, including edibles, (HSC 11357a) are also included..

A.G. Rules Hashish Included under Prop 215

October 21, 2003. In a written opinion, Attorney General Lockyer ruled that Prop 215 protects use of hashish and concentrated cannabis.

The opinion, No. 03-411, was prepared for Lockyer by Deputy Attorney General Gregory L. Gonot.

Full text of opinion.

Official Summary: 03-411

Concentrated cannabis or hashish is included within the meaning of „marijuana¾ as that term is used in the Compassionate Use Act of 1996.

The above is information from canorml.org.

Basically it's legal, but I know people have gotten in trouble for making BHO. I think it's cuz they add butane so they consider it different somehow. Waterhash has nothing added though.

Anyhow it seems like hash is intended to fall under 215.

Concentrates are absolutely covered by 215--:woohoo:

The Mendo Appeals court ruled that any provision of SB420 that altered Prop 215 was unconstitutional. That included plant count and total weight. However, cops, esp. San Diego, will still probably tear everything down and make you prove in court that you are legal. It doesn't matter how many plants you have as long as no one knows you have them.
if your in the part of PRK where you have a 3rd world country as your backyard you better stick the state guide lines 12 immature OR 6 mature. the DA here is a two faced s.o.b. she went and got gay married when it was legal before we voted it illegaL but she has done absolutely nothing in making the county board of supervisiors issues the I.D. cards. well i hope she can get the off duty police offiers to stop shooting people.

Hey Norcal.
Why don't use just write the rules yourself and just send them to the State or Feds and tell them that their current counts just don't work for you...lol

In my county, the jail is so crowded if you do get popped on a grow of any size you're going to be booked, bonded, and released as quickly as possible and left to fight the battle from there. If you live south of santa cruz the cops will probly bust you with 6 plants anyway and make you fight it out. In all honesty tho when I go in pge and 3 of 5 ppl are paying bills for a grow, in cash, that all range from 1200-3500 dollars I'm not too concerned about it. as long as you maintain apperance of yourself and your property and don't pose a threat to your community, you should be able to fly under the radar with any size grow you want without problem.

If you both have your Recs, they will have a hard time justifying an arrest--
It will give you grounds to file a lawsuit--
But they will be looking for anything they can to say you were not in compliance--
I am in the IE, and LEO and CPS came and looked at my grow...and left without touching anything-- That was over a year ago...nothing has ever came up about it--
