Adobe Flash WTF?!

For some odd reason, I cant get Flash player to work with Firefox. What the fuck? I had no problem with IE7. Youtube worked fine and all. When I got firefox, youtube wont work. It says I have an outdated version of Flash player. I dowloaded the Adobe Flash like five times and still, no dice.

Any suggestions?

same thing's been happening to me for a couple of weeks, it pisses me off.

I'll be doing something in firefox then it asks me to download flash (which i already have like 30000 times) and then it craps out on me. then i eventually switch over to IE, which sucks, but it works.

Not sure if you know this already but there are two versions of Flash player, an IE version and a Firefox version. Hope this helps.

I sometimes have problems with Flash in Firefox as well. I have never had a problem with Youtube, but I can never get Megavideo to run on Firefox. There are a few other sites that give me problems too, but those are more dubious and usually adult oriented in nature.

I've tried for ages to rexolve the problem, bu am at a loss on what to do, so I usually just fire up IE for those few sites, when I need to access them.

I have no problem running Flash on Firefox. As a matter of fact, the only TV I watch is on Hulu, which is completely dependent on Flash.

I never DL through the 'Would you like to DL' pop though. I always go to the site, DL it direct, then manually install it.

Have you guys tried that?

Also, do you have the latest Firefox? 3.0.5?

Instead of downloading flash from the web site, go to the Firefox addons page and download it from there.

I am fed up with the whole firefox-flash thing. I downloaded the installer, uninstaller, etc. Nothing is working. I guess I will just fire up IE when I wanna watch media.
