I just picked up some of this from GH seeds 2008 cup winner. Has anyone seen or have info on this strain?

some of my mates tryed it at the cup last year . repot was just like the gh ssh . no lemon smell or taste . run of the mill gh weed .

Although by and large i agree with your assesment of the Cup, I was there in Nov, and this strain won for a few reasons. There is a STRONG lemony flavor and it packs a hell of a punch. It's almost too strong, and as such it wasnt my personal favorite but everyone there was raving about it. The buds were very dense and covered in crystals, at least in the samples that i saw.
GHS also won the last ICMAG 420 cup blind tasting, "run of the mill gh weed" is good indeed.

shit ill comment i heard the shh entered was even ghs ssh and thats why it did win.
I appreciate all the comments but are they really that bad to enter a different strain and call it SLH? To me that would just Fuck up there business. I guess I will give a un biased opinion when I grow them out. I get a feeling not much respect for GHS around here why? There SSH is Awesome I have grown this and have no complaints.

If you have real information of any validity, please present it here and then to Gypsy, I am sure he would be very interested to know his ICMAG420 cup had been compromised, as would hundreds of people from these borads who bothered to fly in from around the world for what you are now telling us is a farce.
I am no fan of the HTCC and pay it little attention, the ICMAG one [and Highlife for that matter] are very real .......as far as I was aware.

All my facts are from Cannibinol from Overgrow. A Dutch coffee shop owner in Haarlem... He lives in Spain now as far as I know...

I don't know about ICMags Cup... As I just got "back" into the marijuana grow/information again...I would presume that
the people running ICMags cup would be legit... I would hope so anyways, as I'm sure if Overgrow ever had a real cup, it would be completely legit...
Also the HTCC is not a great indicator of good strains. People mix several strains, they don't ever really even get a chance to experience "ceiling high" and other quality parts of quality genetics. It's a fucking tourist attraction for Christs sake...
I would LOVE to see DJ Short, Rez and Sam the Skunkman be the judges of one of these cups... Specifically DJ Short and SamSkunkman... Rez would probably just be a valid third opinion. Have em smoke between 2 and 3 strains a day, for about two weeks. Hell, maybe we can throw a camera in their room and get live feedback
I remember a long time ago, they put video up of special "guest" judges that won a HT contest... Every person on that judge panel, minus one man from California, were completely ignorant to the ways of good pot. I was happy to see the Californian calling out the Shotty growing/drying/curing and genetics of the Dutch.. "I smoke better weed than this ALL the time" I believe is what he said
P.S. I'm still convinced Overgrow was only shutdown because it partnered with High Times shortly before it was boned by Canadia... Fuck HighTimes.
Seriously, FUCK HIGH TIMES! There were thousands of fantastic growers on Overgrow, and thousands are here at ICMag. As far as I'm concerned the little know-nothing High Times fans can stick to their shotty advice in High Times.
Although, if they ever wise-up, they can join ICMag

Gypsy, if you read this...Do you still by any chance have copies of your journeys around the world? I mean...the articles/reports you wrote on Overgrow, about your travels? I loved them so much....Really great reads.. I tell my buddy about them all the time, he needs to experience your travel stories

chaos it was talked about between a bunch of people after last years cup, it isnt my responsibility to bring up old news. if the thread is still around, read up. and i proved straight out their sold tw was garbage (atleast mine was) so i think i have the right to hold judgement if i choose.
I got my seeds from The Attitude they are the only authorized bank to sell them. I have been growing for many years and have tried thousands through out these years. I have had very good genetics that turned out like shit that does not mean at least to me that the breeder is crap. Sensi Seeds has genetics that are crap but I would never say that there a crappy breeder so I just don't get it when people say GH as a breeder is crap imo that's just not true They have very very good strains that will put you down. As far as the cup goes if it was true that they switched strains to deceive people witch I don't believe they would be out of business. Gypsy would never carry there line if this was even close to being true.

HTCC may well be fixed, IDGAF .. but the ICMAG cup is not, GHS won it. My personal experiences with GHS have been good, whereas other breeders stuff has not .... have I slagged them off ? NO, because I canot be certain if it was me or them, and, like GHS, others clearly have a great time with them.
You did not prove "their sold tw was garbage", merely that yours was. That alone does not give you a valid reason to slag GHS products off, it hardly constitutes a scientific test, does it ?
If you read up, you see a lot of happy growers doing great things with GHS Trainwreck, it seems to be a variety most agree is great.

I dunno what people are talking about.. Hightimes, and GreenHouse both are the Sh*t. With info from people like jeorge cervantes and the mass growers all over Cali, and strains like GHS lemon haze, silver haze, lemon skunk, trainwreck, arjans ultra haze #2 and the creators of white widow....how can you go wrong?

most banks have the super lemon haze in now including drchronic. We got ours from attitude as well, well they are on their way that is.
I don't really care about what one breeders rep is over another, if they are crap they will end up losing all cred and end up closing up shop. Some people, many people that is have decent results with greenhouse.
I think it is just a ford vs. chevy debate when it comes down to it. We have our favorite and then talk trash on those that are not the ones we like.
I do wish all these banks would lay the f--- off of all the feminized seed production. It sees everytime a new strain is out or fresh stock pops up at the banks they are fem...
Fems are not what I am looking for breeding wise BUT understand why banks do the fem shit though just for that reason. We have to cross, back cross, cube, in breed and anything else to try and get what they sell or that is just my thinking on it at least.
