greetings everyone. i have obtained 3 sour bubble beans. i am hoping to make some more beans to preserve the strain and also possibly do a perpetual inside a full tower pc case with a 150w hps and a cfl veg pc. the nutrients are OMRI listed. im using the biocanna line with BioVega/Flores and Bio Boost. the medium used is the organic bioTerra plus. i use r/o fish tank water to mix my nutes with. i named them x, y, and z.

germination mishap. snapped main root stem! this is z by the way.

got this 150 recently, hopefully it will be put to use soon

-all cuttings so far died due to cold weather and not enough preparation. the babes are not doing so well recently. it seemed like things went downhill after i started using gnatrol and sticky traps to control the gnats. i am still deciding if i should stop using the gnatrol and just let them breed. i am against using pesticides but those gnats are really pissing me off. and as for this bioterra medium, i do not like it all that much. i like coco much better. coco has a lot more aeration compared to this bioterra medium and i think that coco is organic itself too. i am going to switch back to coco later on. then maybe even do a side by side of canna's bioterra and coco once things settle.

day 81, only pic i have of unclipped day 81. accidentally deleted the rest.

day 81, after some clippings.

-bought a heat mat and dome/tray set up. hopefully cuttings will pull through this time.

You're stuff is looking good. When you germinated you used Miracle Grow instead of water? And did you use the paper towel method to do it as well? What day are you over all?

i germinated with the paper towel method in a bag and placed it over the cable box that stays warm for most of the time but not hot. great way to germinate seeds! moved them into miraclegro because they just started rooting and i had no other medium. i will put the number of days on my next picture post.

thank you all for your nice comments. they are currently under 2 cfls with those 6 inch bell reflector clamp lights from home depot. under a 19.5/4.5 veg schedule right now. i will have to start pulling some clones off these soon and have rooted plants before i flower to ensure i keep the genes. i was wondering how are the chances of cloning the tops of the plants? just thinking about it. im still kind of a beginner at growing and very newb at "breeding", so any help is greatly appreciated. i will build the pc within the next two week or so. i really want to cut a hole of the top of the pc and just lay a sun systems 150w reflector on top as this will reduce the grow room temps. can anyone tell me how i can cut through metal pc casing? this grow does not have to look completely stealth as i am hiding this behind a wall cupboard. but space is limited. i will posta pic of my grow space later and explain thoroughly of my plans.

I'll be watching to see how these seeds turnout. I got some Lifesaver seeds recently from one of the clubs and i'm curious to see how it will be.

The sourbubble sounds tasty. I agree. The root system looks very nice.

you should have good success cloning the tops. for future reference if you break the root on a seed sprout just plant it anyway. the root is like stem cells it will keep growing anyway even if the end is gone.

i had a grow i started in hydro and ran into problems with root rot. i just cut the stems on em all in half and rerooted em. as long as theres some sort of leaf alive you should still be able to root it. i just rooted a clone and all the fan leaves died except the teeny tiny growth tip and it still came back.

shit speaking of clones i gotta finish my mom box.

nice loookin grow ya got there...ill be keepin a close eye on this one as i will be ordering sour bubble seeds very soon and am anxious to see how they turn out under those cfls!!!keep it green:joint:

been a bit behind with everything. still havent set up a nice cloning unit yet but will do very soon. they're getting very bushy, kind of like a bonsai mom. i have decided to cull the males because I am still a bit inexperienced for such a big project. there will be flowers sooner too :) sick of having to spend so much on medicine... i will be posting updates once things free up.
