Thai hybrid lighting schedule

I've read that Thai is better flowered with a 14/10 lighting schedule, does this apply to hybrids as well? Im starting to flower Barney's Farm Laughing Buddah which is Thai x Jamaican, so.

Side question, I've also read that an initial 36 hours of darkness helps the plants transition to flower, would it be different for a Thai strain if this is even true at all?

Me? I dunno, this is my first grow with somethin Thai in it, one of my first grows period. I don't think the taste can be described, I think it's unique to the point where its usually described as "Thai taste".

You might have that backwards, the more Sativa in the plant you need like a 11/13 or 10/14 to get her to kick into flower sometime but never did it with a hybrid usually a Landrace Sativa.

I flower most of my sativas on a 10/14 on/off and they love it.
