No shit farmers don't throw out the top soil, that was what I was arguing, again you misread or failed to comprehend a post. So please inform us on how the locations and concentrations of auxins, CKs, and GAs are the same in both veg and flower. And if you read his op, you would know that he is growing from seed in a 12/12 format. This is my final post dealing with an idiot like you. You've pissed off many ppl here yet you have less than 100 posts and have contributed nothing.

yep , they toss it and buy all new fresh dirt every year

overmind's answer:
Are you sure they do it for that reason? Unless there are organisms in the soil.
Sure sounds like you thought they did....lol

I contribute real life experience not regurgitated pot forum bullshit. You're the only person I've pissed off here, and that's because you've been caught in a lie.

I SAID PLANTS IN VEG WITH PREFLOWERS ARE THE SAME AS PLANTS WITH PREFLOWERS IN 12/12. The photo period doesn't mean shit. The plant is not fully in bloom and is the same as the plant with preflowers in veg. That is why it won't take 3 weeks for the cuttings to root. If it was in full flowering phase then yes it might take that long.

All you know how to do is call names; you have offered no other explanations other than "I have a BS in Biology"...lmao

C'mon fellas, it's the internet, and both of you contributed useful info.

PM each other or something on that issue. Not judging, I've blazed the shit out of people online before.

Bottom line is between both of you I feel I can green light how I want to proceed.
Thanks to both, but this stuff usually goes no where anyway.
BU be my guest if you want to post facts and links to back up all claims.

Just more learning for me!

Just hell with name calling. I know, I've done it many times myself. Goes nowhere.

Thanks to both.

Preflowers naturally occur in cannabis plants after several months of vegetative growth.
We wouldn't ever clone a plant that had already entered into 12/12, because it screws the plants metabolism and is slack practise. We have however rooted plenty of clones from mothers in veg. that showed preflowers.

Hope this helps,

p.s. wtf is a BS in Biology ? is it the same as a GCSE, an A-level, or a BSc degree ?

Sure does. A BS in a Bachelor of Science.

Ok we call them Bsc (Bachelor of Science) over here.. Is it true that you can do a degree in Chewing Gum over there,, or was my lecturer just being fascisious?

Anyhow lets drop the beef ppl ,, regardless of letters after names... we all stand on the same side of the garden,, and bring our own experiences to the table ,, remember!!!

We recently re-inherited a HyPro Amnesia clone that had been subjected to 12/12 after rooting,, the bottom most nodes were really deformed and have taken several weeks to revert back to type. As ever f-ing with nature is NEVER advised.

Cannabis is an annual ,, if we treat it like a perennial then strange things are likely to happen.

One Love :canabis:

Understand

Understand

If someone does not understand what you are posting, maybe you could explain it a little differently. With your degree and knowledge it would help the other few thousand people that use this site. Name calling and telling someone to reread a post that sent them the wrong message helps nobody, although it is sometimes mildly entertaining.

I agree but since Chomp has a foot up his ass, I have no motivation or patience to deal with that.

oh, and I'm not doing 12/12, but 18/6. The plants are doing good.
I just want to take cuttings AFTER clear ID of sex when going to 12/12.

Plants: 4 of 7.
