White Skunk - Rubbermaid CFL Grow

I built this box after reading this thread from LifeLess...

Got these beans from Gypsy back in 08. 9/10 germ'd and 4 were female.
I kept the best three out of four fems.

My goal with this grow is to determine which girl is best suited for this particular style of growing. And to get really stoned.

I will essentially be doing an all Fox Farm grow consisting of the following:

• Ocean Forest soil amended with extra perlite.

• Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom

Lighting is 4 x 42watt/2700k CFLs

These girls are all from clone and were just topped yesterday.
I put all of the cuttings in rockwool cubes. One of these cuttings will be my keeper pheno.

Ps. i am very, very happy with this strain so far. Seeds were WAY affordable. The taste is excellent. the stone a very heady super buzz, quite narcotic, sleepy time s#@t!

well, im going to put them into flower right away...within the next few days and hope for the best.

I have a method adopted from LifeLess that involves using paperclips to LST. I've used that when necessary.

Right now they have plenty of room to stretch in the top part of the box.
I know that pheno #2 is the stretchiest so I'll keep a close watch on her.
With luck, they'll be okay..

That's awesome kish, that's exactly what I'm doing but I'm still working with seedlings. About 2-3 weeks until I'm ready for flower.

..but i ended up ordering this Botanicare supplement pack

Anyone with experience using these chems in soil please chime in!..

Why werent you able to get Fox Farm nutes?
I'm sure the bonticare products are fine though

overmind1632..i was able to get Fox Farm nutes and am currently running Big Bloom & Grow Big.
I didn't see a good FF solution for my Cal-Mag situation so i went with the Botanicare.

Until I can figure out how to add new pics..here is an old pic of the inside top/light chamber.

The only difference i've made since taking this photo is changing to a 4 x 42 watt setup instead of the two 42 watters shown. oh, and also adding a carbon scrubber.
I'll post pics of the scrubber when I can..

Yeah overmind, like I said before...I modeled my box completely after his design. I only adjusted a couple of specs. So far, so good..

So I guess we'll call today 'Day 1' of flowering. I just switched to 12/12 and pumped four of them full of nutes.
The other three will get their dose tomorrow..

The strain is White Skunk from White Label/Sensi Seeds. Scored form Gypsy at SeedBoutique for around $20 (10 pack/standard).

Here is a sample bud of Pheno #3 i smoked last night.​

This nug was harvested from a cutting I gave a friend shortly after sexing these plants..
Said grower used a 600watt HPS over a DWC hydro setup.
Also, i might add, they only used the three part General Hydro nutes all the way through..no secondary nutes or supplements.

The taste/smell of this bud are out of control.
Not the typical skunk smell you'd count on with a strain like this
Its a very fruity/fresh aroma that reminds me of the scent you'd expect from a liquid dish soap...the citrus kind!

The smoke is a thick fog that rolls away like the impenetrable exhaust usually found combusting from the engine of a Peterbilt.
This condensed vapor somehow remains mild and never irritates (I think i coughed only once).

Generally, this seems like an all around great smoke.
Although, very lethargic, it definitely made me drowsy.
And a long lasting high as well.

..good friends go a long way these days

Thanks kish, but there's always a chance to get my delivery stuck in the customs, because it is from outside the europe.

edit: I was thinking about buying a envirolite 250w. Is it better to use a lot of small CFL or just use a big one?
