Getting Married, Where do Pot Lovers Honeymoon?

We're pretty laid back Taoists and up until about 5 minutes ago I assumed we'd go to Amsterdam for our honeymoon...but where else can we go? There are other beautiful pot friendly cities. We enjoy marijuana, biking, nature, fractals, music, and food. We plan on spending a few thousand on the vacation since the wedding is tiny. Any suggestions?

The people there are very very friendly as well, and will usually help you get what you need.

Cost Rica baby..or why not Jamaica ?

The Pot probably wont be top notch but it's cheap and abundant..I've always thought when i travel to somewhere where weed is cheap i would bring one of those cheap ice hash bags with me and just throw it away later.

EDIT: Amsterdam with 2000$ is gonna be a stretch...i was there alone for 5 days and spent about 3k..Also depends on where you are located i guess..

Are those the two gals that used to run the Amsterdam cafe in Vancouver? I think they changed over to a bed and breakfast now.

If it's them, I haven't been there in years but one of them was sooooooo kind to me....she was learning Craniosacral technique then and was very knowledgeable about a whole range of things. They hooked me big time with the most killer local nugs (for I had none with me on my travels), and they had the best seeds available on the North American continent (which is going back like 12 years ago).

That would be a KILLER honeymoon spot.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was hoping to spend around 3-5 thousand...Vancouver seems like a good choice, Jamaica isn't really my cup of tea, maybe I was scared from a cruise trip though. Canada would be much cheaper than Amsterdam though, we'll try to make the Amsterdam trip next year.

Zombi3- Based on your first post, I'm telling you my vote is, without a doubt, Jamaica. I understand your hesitation/reservations about the island, and if you're not in the right place down there, things can be sketchy. It's a poor country, no doubt. But Oh. So. Beautiful. Especially Negril, which is where I'd recommend you two crazy lovebirds go.

Google a place called "Idle a While"... It's a small (not crazy expensive, but great accommodations!) hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The sunsets are beautiful, the people are friendly (the pushers can be... pushy. But if you mean no when you say it, they'll get it. If they think you're on the fence, they will try to make a sale. Whether it's hair braiding, cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms, or mango juice!) the food is great and the grass is abundant. Hell, some of it is even good!

Seriously. Negril, Jamaica. Idle a while at 'Idle a while' and google an outfit called "Big Ship Tours". Your contact there is Dudley. If he's not available, ask for Whyte. They'll pick you up in MoBay (hint at wanting an 'irie' arrival, and they'll come prepared, or sort it out w/in moments after you arrive) and then drive you to the hotel. They'll do the return trip, too, and can arrange anything you could possibly want to do. They are great dudes, and that's the key to traveling anywhere. Know the right people, and it's smooth sailing.

Depends on the climate you want. Personally I would go for Jamaica jus cuz I love the tropics. Never been there myself tho. I have been to Cancun, mexico tho and liked it a lot- the trick is to go south along the eastern coast down to chitzaneetza and check out the sanote's(underground swimming holes) and the mayan ruins. One of my favorite vacations, we went south a lil more and my sis swam wit the dolphins, good scuba diving and snorkeling. Also been to hawaii and it has better herb but mexico was the funnest all around out the 2. Congratulations too!!! Have fun and be safe.
