I should take a pic, I believe they are actively seeking an aeroponic environment. Could it be that the bacteria are competing for oxygen?
I say this because they grow fatter once they pop out of the water, I've seen swamp trees in the south that do this too because the roots don't get enough O2 and cant produce their own. Have you noticed any ill effects TGP?
well no ill effects at all. But this happen when I was gone for a week and about 7 gallons of my 20 was used:

Hmm that is 10 days. Has the ph changed, my ph would jump up to 6.8 or so when I needed to change rez. I didnt see what nutes you where using. If your not using organic nutes try using some H2O2. It adds alot of O2, but you dont want to use it if your using organic nutes. I used it in my last run and I could see the difference it made in my DWC. If your ppm has lowered maybe its time to change rez. Keep up the awsome work
H2O2 is an option but I think it would cause a massive die off which I don't want. When the PH goes up (always does, my tap water is as high as 9.8 if not filtered) I use phosphoric acid to knock it down to 5.4 or so.
I'm using GH nutes, I have the 3 part and a liter of floranova that I have switched to.
I have only added back about 2 gallons so far, but that is changing fast, the plants have wet leaves from so much transpiration (only happens if one leaf is directly under the stomata of another and shaded by it). The RH is 55 so I will need to correct that once buds start to form, I want to get it down to 40 or so.
I've kept a spreadsheet log with stats and notes.
I'm using GH nutes, I have the 3 part and a liter of floranova that I have switched to.

Still wondering about preflowers. They are starting to take off, real growth spurt so I flowered at the right time.
They are using 50ppm per day out of the rez(.1 ec drop per day) and probably between a liter and half gallon of water each day and increasing daily. The roots still look and feel firm and white.
Ph has stabilized at 5.8 and has stayed there for the last 3 days, I may use ph down tomorrow but I want them to suck up a lot of phosphorous so I'd like to see it get up to 6.0 before I bump it down again.
LST is going great and you can see one of my 1oz pyramid sinkers and the jumbo swivel snap I use for that in the foreground, I've got one on every branch that needs it to get spread out. These little 1oz weights and shitty brass swivel snaps suck so they are best used for LST and not fishing lol!
I'm worried about algae, the slime on the outside of the tub is not clear anymore but that could just be the new floranova nutes.

Hey Hey brother...things look great in here. Couple questions for ya...Have you kept the water level in your tub at the same height for the entire grow?
Can you take a pic for us not under the HPS?
What do you plan on feeding these gals ( fingers X'ed ) during flower???

The water level was kept about half inch above the net pot bottoms till the roots came down, now its an inch or two lower than the pots.
I can and will take a no hps pic once lights go off in 40 minutes, I stuck a CFL in there to supplement lighting a little bit, it will have to be turned off and the pic will be a flash only since the closet is so dark with the HPS off.
I plan on continuing the flora nova only feeding, they seem to love it and from what I read in the lucas threads its an all in one nute for flowering. I have added a tiny bit of silica every now and again which may account for the thick stems.
I'll be a little bummed if they are both male but ohh well thats the chance I took, and pollen is good too because I want to make a ton of seed (won't send in for freebies since verite sells this still and I'm not a douche).

Ohh I've got some molasses and kelp stuff too which I will probably use once buds are mostly formed for the flavor.
I notice that the plants have zero smell so far (although the right one thought to be female smells more when I rub her stem..), but verite says its a low odor strain I think, and I think I read that brothers grim C99 (parent of the original cross verite made) is a low smeller even in flower.
I may miss my stanky computer room the closets in but ohh well, at least no friends I have over will ask wtf is that smell, and I won't have to lie and say the cat got into a skunk lol! I have an ionic breaze and a small ozone generating thing that works well in case smell is ever a security issue again.

You could insert -thumb into the right part, I think its near the end.
Edit: yea just before the .jpg thing type -thumb, in my pics it comes after a bunch of numbers. That should work. I just right clicked one of my thumbs from before the upgrade on the first page and in properties it shows the -thumb.jpg as the tail end of the URL.

Hey, those are looking great! Sence those are your only plants I would grow them out tell your sure that they are males. Sence they are in flower mode it should take only a few weeks and you will know for sure. Ill keep my fingers crossed for you.
