Strains to avoid (the dreaded boring high)

I don't mean to come across as negative (as I love the gift of our herb), that saves us in so many ways.
I just wanted to see if we could help point people in the right direction,and help warn our fellow grower's and smokers about strains that you feel have that boring, non-complex, braindead high.
In other words if we could help list strains that really rubbed you the wrong way.

I've smoked "mids" that were definitely some mexi brick ish type stuff that got me wayyyy higher than some "dank" decent looking stuff. I think the complexity of the high is comPLETELY dependent on the genetics yes, but moreso how the genetics are grown/handled.

you can take some fire, compress the crap out of it, vac bag it, let it ride out a few dufflebags here or there and it probably wont be anything like what it was when it was first put in bags. So that "mexican sativa" could potentially have a WAY better high than the "og kush" you got last week, if it were handled properly that is.

I'm sure there are people that have experienced strains that no matter how much TLC you give em they still are sub par. Most can take sub par bagseed and turn it into something nice with that TLC though.

me personally, I'm sick and tired of the bland boring indicas I've been seeing flood the market. Flat and boring yes, the high barely is a high at all (for me).

theres a time for vegging out and gettin that couchlock, but personal preference leads me to the ones that make me giggle like a twelve year old schoolgirl or the ones where I can barely see out my slenty eyes with a goofy grin on. The stuff where when you roll up to your buddies he laughs as soon as he answers the door because you cant even hide the fact you're baked as hell.

Not saying that I do not think that there may be a good one out there, but the Nirvana Snow White pheno's that I had were boring.

nirvana white rhino, very dull boring high. but ive heard there is quite a search required for good rhinos as well as medicine man

I REALLY do not care for SOL's Blubonic ---the both phenos i tried, one had sorta romulan pinkgrapefruit smell, but no kick, and the other pheno (blue sat) had very bland flavor, with really NO kick, ---maybe it may be nice for people who smoke Beasters and mids, buuut i dunno - i reaaaally didnt enjoy it, i think like 5 out of 5 of my friends all thought it was bunky

didnt care for swt3 either. its yummy and all and the elegant touch of blueberry shines through, but the tolerance builds up super quick and the high just left me wanting more...of something else, that could finish the job properly.

I think boring highs have a lot to do with your tolerance and the way YOU react to different cannabis.

the Top44 from Nirvana i grew was a bit mild...not bad, just mild...was done in like 56 daze, smoke was ok...probably ok during the day, but it just didn't get me where i like to be...

I wasn't impressed with Papaya. It smelled good but it didn't yield well and had very little potency... a little too indica, perhaps...

(I have seen people very happy with it, maybe I just didn't get a keeper)

Ditto. I grew M39 back in '02. It reminded me of a girl with huge fake tits who didn't know how to fuck. Enormous, enormous yield, the biggest yielder I've ever grown. But boring as whale shit.
