Going to make my first tea want to make sure it is right

4 gallons of water

8 tbls ewc

4 tsp molasses

Brew 18 to 24 hrs add 2 cups of tea per gallon of water use within 4 hours

Help is appreciated

I don't know what sweetleaf is, but there's no way to know unless you do some microscope work. The advantage of molasses is that it's a complex sugar and so you're feeding a higher diversity of microbes in the tea.

Sweet Leaf has molasses in it with other stuff the NPK OF it is 0-0-1, Here are the ingredients.


cranberry extract
grape extract
yeast extract
ascorbic acid
Molasses
azomite
sandalwood extract
vitamin B1,B2,B3,B5,B6,B7,B12
L-IDOLEUCINE
L-THREONINE
L-TYROSINE
