Dr. Kevorkian

Buffoonman

A friend of mine was telling me about a strain he grew called Dr. Kevorkian. He reckoned it was the best he'd grown. Just wondering if you guys know anything about it or if it is still available.

I remember Kevorkian in the early to mid 90s. I'm couldn't tell you the lineage though. As I recall, it was a good strain which produced a nice effect. It's been a long time since I've seen it around that I can't give a better description.

After further research it seems to be one of shantis old strains, also its indicated it was a haze skunk cross possibly done with Kali mist. By no means hold me to that though.

I recall that one... I saw the seeds long ago from a company called world wide seeds...
The smell was very sweet sour, super sticky and a heavy hammer hit you on the head kind of high. The Genetics are unknown to me...I see it every now and then.

I grew Dr. Kevorkian once next to my Jack Herer, the Jack Herer got a bit of nute burn nothing serious. The funny thing is the next day when I went to check on it my Jack Herer was dead.

The Dr Kevorkian was indeed a Shantibaba's strains he made with Neville.

It was not a Skunk Haze cross but a NL5Haze cross. Here is the info from Shanti as posted over here at ic mag forums:

"At some stage we came out with Dr Kevorkian...a strain that was in between SSH and NH genetically."

"Doc Kevorkian was basically a particular NL5 x Haze one of the original sisters in the hood."

"I have all of these things in seed stock from the early 90s and before.Maybe one day I will get around to putting them back into stock for those who are interested."

Thread bump!

I quite fondly remember finding Dr. K whilst living in Amsterdam (1998-2000) at the Greenhouse (shout out Tolstraat!).

It was on the menu with the tag "What ever you do, do NOT close your eyes!"

I would love to find seeds of this!
