holy shit!!! this new bill in the house blows my mind!! just think if something like this could get passed. it would make the lonestar only that much sweeter. I really didn't think any MMJ laws would even get talked about for a longgg time, this is such a ray of hope!!

h-town to san antonio back in forth.whats up what a texas cup r bowl???cali,vegas -east coast has em.security is a big issue but with as many as outdoor harvests we pull a year and our own grow ops.i think its something to think about

try doin' a search for Tick's SOG box, or for any of the NGB threads. Also search for the DIY thread. Although there probably won't be blueprints it'll definitely be a good starting point and help for you to come up with your own design.

happy new year!

I am about ready to flush my little grow under my 150w HPS.

Should I flush with just water or should I add something like molasses to the flush water?

Good Day folks,
Let's see.....this new year is already off to a great start. A few colleagues shared some of their valuable gear... :wave: A local cutting of MB and a few White Rhino seeds that were homemade. All WR beans sprouted and the MB is starting to flower..... :jump: Winter Harvest part (2) is a few weeks away. The selection will be Citral, AK-48, Jock Horror, Ice, Blue Mystic, and Cinderella 99. A few pics....

For me the 150 is about right in such a small space, 3'x2'. I have used it before with good-great results. This time I added a second bulb, one on the right side of hood and one on the left side. Both ballast are outside the grow area. I have a small U shaped piece of metal between the bulbs- so the tips do get too hot. I can keep the bulb about 6-8 inches from the tips. I also use 6 - 55w/250w cfl around the buds where needed. This gives me 105w per sq ft and 9000 lumen per sq ft. I would like more, but you do what you can. :joint:

With my harvest coming soon, I am planning the next grow. This time I have 4 MB clones at about 6 weeks.
The next grow will include an MB, K-48, Jock Horror, Cinderella 99.

One of the white rhino beans popped and it is looking good, looking forward the April 09 grow to try it out (hoping it's a girl)

I forced one of the Cinderella 99 clones into 12/12 when she was about 2" tall. She is now about 4 weeks into 12/12 and 4" tall, with one main cola in the grow room with one 55w cfl about an inch from her top. She is small but she will be tasty I'm sure. Lots of nice white hairs!
For the Jock Horror I am going the 'T' design that you use. I like the looks of it. I plan to let it go maybe 16" wide before letting it turn upwards. This should put each end 'top' directly under one 150w bulb. Sweeeeeeeeeet !

:jump: I snagged the last pack of Paradise's "Sensi Star" 5 pack regular seed from Seed Boutique.... I see some crazy crosses in the future

growDaddy......Sounds like a plan, be careful as the stems may become ridged and bending them could result in damage. After you see the new growth appear, give it a few inches, then you can start training her to spread those arms. The Cinderella 99's branches are easy to work with, you may have already witnessed how much she stretches. Good ideal about the Jock Horror, you'll find the bud results are better than the single cola. Do you remember which pheno you have 1 or 2 of the JH?

Appreciate the welcome Movintarget! Sensi Star is a great strain, definitely gonna be some good crosses, and it's definitely in good hands for that!

growDaddy, so you're running 2 150w HPS, plus the 6 CFL's? What are you doin' for ventilation? I have enough trouble keeping my cab with 4 42w CFL's cool :p

I suffered through that problem for several long long months. What I ended up with was 2 - 6in ducting tubes coming out of my cab (2x3x6) at the top into the attic. On the end of each of these up in the attic I have inline fans sucking the air out. one 240cfm and one 185cfm. These will swap out the air several times a minute. But it wasn't until I increased the intake hole that things started to click. I believe I could put in a 400w, maybe a 600w hps. One day I will try.

Man, ventilation is the key.
get that working and everything else a piece of cake.

fyi - if you're close to Austin, lights fantastic on Burnet Rd has 55w medium base 2700k 3600 lumen CFL lights for $19.95. I can't find anyone else who has anything bigger for a medium base CFL, They throw a lot of light around the buds and can be placed very close, which really helps me. :headbange

my cindy is stretching like crazy. I have her all set up for next grow. I don't remember (All I do remember is I saw wonderful sites which I will not soon forget) which pheno I have of Jock Horror, but I have already started training her and have the two limbs about 4-6" out on each side. There are no other branches except these two, I cut the others for clones. The AK48 is a little slower, but I am doing the same 'T' training to her, but it may the next grow for her.

I will take pictures but have not yet, just because . .
