Thanks for stopping by ;-). Personally, I usually use Black/White Poly; however a close friend wanted to try out the Reflectix. A lot of growers have been using it for BOTH the insulating and reflective properties. In this grow, we needed a way to insulate as well - being as how we are in a garage-type setting.

I am not having problems with room temp really...sticking right around 76-78 WITHOUT my fan on. Haven't even had to think about running A/C yet. So hopefully the summer will be a "breeze lol....

So, it's been a few days since I posted up some pics....so here ya go. The two hindu's are really doing great but seem to be suffering from a zinc deficiency. Any ideas on an additive w/ zinc (besides starting with tap water)? The 4 Bubbakush and the mini bubbakush (not so mini anymore) are doing AMAZING and taking up the nutes LIKE CRAZY. I keep having to top them off with nute solution because they are constantly sucking the nutes out of the water. The other 5, which I am 99.9% sure are Romulan are really struggling. For some reason they are showing signs of nute burn, however the PPM was only 350-450 on between the 5.....any ideas?? Ok ok, enough talk...here are the photos of the ladies, some clones, and some nice microbrews I've been enjoying. Enjoy ;-)
On a side note, I leave for Lake Tahoe on Thursday morning and I'm getting more and more excited....heh. No more updates until I get back...(12th).

hey spo much respect for a sweet room! i love to see people blowing it out pro-style! 
those plants are going to be some serious beasts once you flip, that stem (enormous stalk) closeup are like the big paws on a puppy that's going to be a big ass dog...
i was kind of wondering about how you flush your plants, do you put fresh water in, let them sit in it then dump it and put a new nute mix in the bucket?
when the plants start to bud and get heavy how do you plant to support them? i did a non recirculating DWC grow some years back and had pretty good results even though i had some problems with root rot which sucked. i remember it was a total bitch to get the nutes changed after the plants were flowering and got heavy...by the looks of ur setup i'm sure you've got it down, i'm just curious...

Yo what up bro.....those ladies are looking nice I love the pic of the long ass roots and the hidden body behind that plant (I think I know that dude he he). Hard to believe the fantastic growth you get with this DWC deal. Boy it sure looks futuristic in there with those buckets wrapped up in silver. Pretty cool. I still need to go and get myself some of that. I also like what hydrofarmer did on his post with the false lil wall made out of mylar. Im thinking about doing that as well.
I just checked the snow report for heavenly and its looking like your gonna have some nice weather days while your out (sunny it looks like) 8 inches in the past week. I'll be checking out the mountain cams on the web looking for ya.
Arctic: Hey bro hows it going, man Im not to sure about those slippers (really old manish) but those nugs look nice and huge. Are those plastic bags you have them in? I guess they were already dry so you put them in there so they wouldn't dry out anymore hugh? I should have some plants to be taking down here in a couple of weeks (last three in dirt) they wont have any tops like that, but they are pretty frosty.
Also I put down 5 seeds yesterday (gifted to me) so Im gonna see if I can make these pop before ordering any yet. So we shall see. Ill keep ya'll updated..........

When I do my "flush" I typically take the plant out and put in a new bucket with plain RO water where it will sit while I change the nutes in the original bucket. I try to "wash" the roots a bit in the plain water before stickin in the new fresh nute mix. As far as the weight, you are right, they do get a little awkward when doing the flushes lol. Between me and my bestfriend we usually do alright. Typically we end up having to tie up a lot of branches with swollen colas, but because of our high air circulation the mostly support themselves, except during the few weeks.

My flowering has begun and its like now the excitement really kicks in.
Love the Reflectix and the spacing is ideal for the bush effect I see you going for.
