Hey I was hoping someone could give me an idea of what is going on with my last round of clones. They've been in the room for 2 weeks with hardly any growth. The stocks have turned purple. Could this be due to cold temps? They're in coco, I'm doing the same thing I always do, ebb and flow with the same nutes I always use. So I don't think that is the issue. They seem to finally be growing out of it. I've never had any issues with blue sky cuts till now. The cuts I used to get were so much bigger and healthier it seems as if you truly have to baby the ones they give you now a days. They also shorted me a block of 6. I'm not very happy with them right now. I'm trying to decide if I should go get a new batch or keep nursing these ones back.

Yeah they gave me a free block of dc x sc. But regardless they shorted me 6 on the hindu skunk which is what I needed. I've been getting clones from them for a long time. Same with my friends, I remember paying 5-8 dollars for clones that were ready to go and didn't need the babying that the barely rooted babies need now for 12 each. I'll be going this week to get 5 new blocks hopefully they'll hook me up for my troubles. My room has been getting too cold during the dark. I threw in some space heaters hopefully this will solve the problem.

Here's a small update on SR-71's Strawberry Cough x Deep Chunk clone.
This plant probably has about two weeks left. It's much more purple now than the SR-71 Purple Kush has gotten for me even out to 70 days. So if it's purple you're looking for, SCxDC has more purple for me than the PK.
The plant in my photos was trained pretty hard and I pruned it back at the outset of flowering to fit my cabinet. Still, though, this plant is not as productive as the PK. I hear people talking about how the SR-71 PK is such a slow vegger, but in the end the PK always is a big producer for me. The SCxDC will be less productive, but already the smell and the look are superior to the PK, at least IMHO.
Again, it's just my opinion, but the SR-71 PK provides an above-average high, but not what I would call great or superior. I'll have to wait and see what this SCxDC does for a high, but if the high is equal or better to the PK, than I will take the PK out of the rotation and replace it with the SCxDC.
One reason for replacement is because I've had mold and mildew problems off and on with PK, but the SCxDC has shown zero signs of mold during this whole flowering run. The leaves on the SCxDC are the thickest, waxiest, deepest-green leaves I've ever grown, and I've been doing this for a while. It's just a strong and vigorous plant, and the buds already look frostier and more purple than the PK.
As for the smell, it's more of a sweat-sock, musty smell, but in my experience those kinds of plants often cure out to some really interesting and subtle flavors. The SR-71 PK cures out to a chocolately dankness that is really cool, so we'll have to see where the SCxDC goes.
I REALLY need to find out how to take close-ups with my camera!
Edit: This plant is being grown in one gallon of Cocogro, with a nute regimen of Pure Blend Pro at 8 ml to the gallon, and Cal Mag Plus at 2 ml to the gallon, which leaves me with .7 EC on my Truncheon meter. That's around 400 ppm, and although I know that most folks on IC Mag push two or three times that ppm, I've never found a plant yet that showed deficiencies at .7 EC. Everyone should try to see how low they can go with nutrient levels, because when you do, you'll find the plants are way healthier and happier with lower levels than are standard around here...

I was actually wondering about those dcxsc numbers too. That's amazing if he did pull that much off of a 4x8 running dcxsc, but I think the numbers are probably off or something.

I think getting the numbers right is important Rainman. You don't want people coming on here thinking they can pull almost 6#'s per 4x8 table with something like DCxSC. Come on now. That's really misleading.
Realistically from what I've seen and done of DCxSC it is more like a 1 pound per light strain if your lucky.
