hey deft, what do you think some high cfm muffin fansfor light area and another for carbon scrubber,
or do you think a 4 inch inline would do both?

the bigger the fan the more yo can turn it down and the quieter it will be, i just boght a 6amp fan for mine dunno how many cfms but im guessing well over 200

i ordered a 6amp blower i think its going be around 1000-2000 cfm for my 250hps lol for only 15 bucks but without the houseing, so its just the wheel and motor, cant recommend it till i get it tho, and i ordered a just the wheel part thats like 20 inches long and 3 inch dia

Hello all,
Well, I am just beginning my 5th year of growing my own. Been some good and some bad grows and some steller grows.
Anyway, I try to grow a perpetual grow with a harvest every month. I am using a 250w CMH in flower and about 150w of cfls @ 6400K in veg.
Over the years I have found that my lead time to flower from both clones and seed to be about 90 days.
I have been goin from solo cups to 1 gallon pots to 3 gallon pots but I have found that my roots are not utilizing all of the volume of soil. So I started transplanting to a final pot size of 2 gallons for a few months to see if there is a significant difference in yield. Using the smaller pots allows me to get more plants under the small sweet spot of a 250w hid.
So to my question, whats your lead time and your wattage in veg and flower?

I say got damn i didnt know 250 watts could put out such beautiful buds...
let me start off by saying that my buddy who i didnt even know grew bud comes up to me a while ago and says...................man i got to many females and i need to get rid of three...............after i shit my pants i scrambled to find a spot.........after that i could only use a 250 w hps.....this is a shower grow.........i got a 70cfm bathroom exaust fan and one 4 inch fan blowing on my little orphan babies.......so now i got 3 sour deisel kush females and six clones.....................

Was planning to do a micro grow , but decided to say fuck it and purchased:
250w HPS and MH conversion bulb
Air cooled reflector
Homebox Small
4" Carbon scrubber + dayton 140 CFM squirrel cage
And while I cannot use it right now, its all setup and has been tested. Its the sexiest fuckin thing I've ever seen
I'm already convinced this is the greatest hobby to have

i think of it as mini
There are three tiers of grow size imo.
Micro: So small you can't prove 1 gram per day non stop smoke.
Personal: Big enough you can provide daily smoke without too much trouble eg not having to grow 12 months out of the year. This is where I consider the 250w and 400w to be.
Commercial: More than you could smoke, could be just one 600w and providing friends etc but mostly for sale. I realize not everyone sells who has 1kw or so but its more than you need to provide personal smoke so it fits IMO.

Now I've gone and done it...I'm officially a participating member of the 250w club! My wife and I officially started our first medical grow (and first grow ever). Here are some basic stats:
Custom made NGB-style cabinet, with veg/clone, flower and utility room
125w daytime CFL for veg/mother/clone
250w HPS in Sun System II air cooled hood for flower
256cfm 6" Canfan and Can33 carbon filter
Organic, soiless medium with organic compost teas for nutrients

Hey 250 family...here's some shots of my current flowering girl, a Mystery Indica that Im pretty sure is an Afghani!!!Shes about 3 weeks in or so, about 5 more to go!!!!Fast and frosty...
