Well, bozo, I'll smoke some hash in honor of the last of yours!

I'm not staying home, but I'm going close enough where it'll be a walk instead of a drive. Probably the only benefit to living here, the fact that I have friends that close.

Thanks, T! I'm real happy with how quick they started fattening up! Much quicker than either of my previous harvests.

I think most of the light's getting where I need it, but the plants got a few inches taller than I'd have liked for proper coverage. Lots of those fan leaves are shading buds since everything's so damn close, and it's making it hard for the light to cover the area I'd like. But I think I'll end up with some super dense buds right under the light (if they don't get burned too bad, some are too close already :( ), and fluffier buds around the perimeter.

Thanks much, CMoon! Always nice to see a new face.

All the best,
TG

wow and i thought i was maximizing my closet! How tall are your plants now? mine are udner 2 ft but its getting so crowded (in week 6 of flower) that im worried about light penetration too. Hopefully our 2 400w's will pull through and give us nice dense nugs all around haha cuz im feelin u on the outside ones maybe beein fluffier

OK, CD, I'll get my drunk ass up there and stumble around with the camera if you want :D

Well, Toob, the closet is only my veg area currently. I flowered in it previously, but I wasn't happy with the footprint of the light, and it was too small for 2 400's, IMHO. I'm interested in the best gram per watt, so I was shooting for the maximum footprint for each light.

The flowering plants are about 2 1/4-2 1/2 ft tall, and the vegging ones in the closet are between 1 1/2 and 2 1/4 ft.

The crowding can be a bitch, but the tucking and tying off the fan leaves I've done ( and need to get off my ass and do more of ) seems to allow more light to reach lower budsites.

As far as dense nugs all around, I'm not too worried. I hope the dense nugs and better penetration directly under the light, along with the way that buds that visibly don't seem to be getting much light still seem to pack on the size will combine for a damn good GPW.

Thanks for the compliments! I'll be by your thread soon enough ;)

All the best,
TG

Sho is!

OK, I gotta go ship my mother back home, so I'm gonna leave myself some notes so I can remember which pic is which plant when I get back.

-------------------------------EDIT---------------------------------------
OK, so I return! Let's get to those pics I promised!

Dirty Harry

Strawberry Cough on the bottom & left; Skunk Chunk under CFL

Same Skunk Chunk as the last pic.

Lemon Godzilla

Dirty Harry on bottom; Strawberry Cough up top

A poor Skunk Chunk I need to give a lot more light to REAL soon.

A couple of Sensi Star x Skunk #1

This Dirty Harry filled in a spot under the light that was previously occupied by a male that didn't show till about 10 days in, and a smaller female that's now in my veg closet. Big damn plant, takes up most of the space directly under the light, and got too close for longer than I'd have liked. Oh well, still seems happy enough!

These next few pics are 3 Lemon Godzillas all right next to each other. I'm really starting to like this strain a lot! Very lemony scent, putting on weight very quickly, and looks like it would be even happier with more nutes!!!

This plant is a Super Skunk I replaced a Lemon Godzilla male I completely missed for 2 1/2 weeks! Goddamn stoner :spank:
Did manage to take some cuts from the LG male, though, since I thought it was a girl when I took them

A Super Skunk cut I put into flower with everything else.

One more Lemon Godzilla.

And last but not least, 2 more Sensi Star x Skunk #1.

Sorry for the tease if you had to wait for them!

All the best,
TG

Hey TG. They finally let me back in. Everything is looking great. Looks like a nice jungle of green. Hope you and the lady had great Christmas and New Year. Ohh and if you got a different hood or hoods (Shallower)for your lights it should take that dark spot out of the room. Also been reading alot of people stripping almost all the fan leaves off, of there plants at 3 weeks and also again at 5 to 6 weeks. And to my surprise it dosen't seem to effect them one bit. They claim they get bigger buds because of better light penitration. I could go find the thread if you want it's at another site.

Hey, Guyute! Nice to see you here. BTW, I'll probably be here for the most part now, PG seems to be dying a slow, painful death IMHO :(

That thread about fan leaves would be cool, I'm definitely interested in better penetration!

I'm definitely seeing that my hoods are a little deeper than I'd like. A friend has a couple of AC'ed hoods that are much shallower and wider than mine, and I like them a lot. The coverage would be kickass. I do have to admit, though, that the deep hood seems to give the light greater penetration than my previous grow, which had a wider reflector (wing style).

OK, so now to edit my previous post and add the pics!

All the best,
TG

You know, Guyute, I'm still not sold on the idea of removing so many fan leaves.

I see the point, there was no popcorn on the plants at all, but neither did they seem to have very big, dense nugs anywhere. The plants were quite close to the light, too.

But I think there's definitely some merit to removing at least some of the fan leaves when plants are packed in as tight as I have them. So thanks for the link, it's made me decide that I need to remove some of them, because there are some nugs that could REALLY use the light.

All the best,
TG
