350 in the midwest??? wow...you guys must live in a small city or dont know the right peeps....I see Beasters around my city (MID-WEST BABY) 225 at most. Its a dying business where I'm at. We were buying that crap 10-12 yrs ago. People round the city are looking for Diesel, Trainwreck, ANYTHING PURPLE WILL SELL (that is our "new" beasters). Basicaly headies. 300-400 a zip. There are mad midwest city growers.

Yeah these things are still around my town. Have been back for about a month now. It sucks when my closest friends keep buying it up and I have to be nice about their bag because that's the way I am but at the same time I try to educate them about the beasters that they are smoking. Thanks for all the info guys, I turned a couple people away from them already.

After that description I want to throw up. That stuff looks ok...that is the crappy part. I wonder if it would be better if dried/cured properly? Drying is SO important as we know.

Some of the more popular names tossed around the forum are not nearly as good as the hype surrounding them. So you would be surprised on exactly how good some of this marijuana is. Where alot of new members and smokers alike go wrong, is judging marijuana on its appearance. Sure its nice to have something real pretty, but its the effect that counts. Then you start talking about the other qualitys, such as taste and yield etc. So appearance is nice, but its not everything my friend.
One mans treasure, is another mans trash. There are plenty of people who would be happy with those beaster buds, dont kid yourselves. Alot of people, who are not in their teens or early 20's do not get access to the premium cannabis they once were able to acquire easily at a younger age. People grow up, people get jobs, people move, its called life. So when I see kids pretending they are somehow superior to other smokers because their grass looks better, I generally remind myself of how easily it is to see their inexperience.
Just because it isnt hightimes worthy, in aesthetic appearance does not mean its not quality. Every wants the holy grail, a beautiful variety that is mind blowing potent, taste great with a nice yield. But even when you find that variety, you will grow tired of it eventually. Thats why we have variety.

Interesting point man but I dont think it's the appearance so much as its the fact that the bud is grow really badly. It has nothing to do with the genetics, some of them are actually pretty nice but if the same buds were grow with some TLC they would be wayyyy better and thats the part that makes it sad. I'm from BC and out of the people that I smoke with atleast 80-90% of them smoke this type of shit and it's really depressing because you just know they are smoking lots of ferts and shit thats bad for them. The saddest part is though that they have no idea that they are smoking shit they think the wetness means its 'sticky' and the unbalanced head high from it being cut early makes it 'potent'. Even worse is when people say, hey its BC Bud of course its good. Fack off lol, but anyway yah I think people smoke it cause they don't know there is better stuff out there or its the only stuff they can source and for them I guess you could say ignorance is bliss, same reason why people drink piss ass macro lagers likes budweiser and canadian, just don't know better

my friend who sells i extremely inconsistent with quality. some days i can get a gram from him and it will be up there with white widow, super silver haze. other times i'll get really good looking bud that gives me a disappointing " weak/mellow " high. Beasters is the exact word to describe those batches.

beasters is the ASIANS Hydro grown with chemical nutes.. picked early.. and not flushed.. and dried a few days tossed into bags and sold... they want to get as much weight as possible. so ya im sure there using bushmaster.. and gravity.. and im sure a lot more CRAP....
lol the stuff is straight SHIT.. looks decent.. has no smell and no taste.. even if u cure it. . just pulled way to early not enough time to allow the terpenes to get to were there supposed to be to create that nice STINK.
