what are your ideas of the best yielding strains to grow 9 on a flood and drain table, under a 600w hps??

"grow 9 on a flood and drain table, under a 600w hps??" says nothing about the style of growing. You mean larger plants? Is yield the only thing you're going for? Do you care about bag appeal or potency, indica, sativa.... ??
There's a lot of answers to this very vague question, but you will never get a definitive.

Most of those aren't top-notch smoke and none of them are going to have bag appeal like purple eurkle or OG kush... but they will yield well (assuming the right pheno is found).

Agreed, we need some more info to help you out. My first question would be, how big is your footprint? this will determine if you want to grow single colas or a bushes. personally, under a 600 w with nine plants i would do a 3' x 3' table with a solid veg time and a SCROG canopy to fill it all in. In this case i would want a plant that could bush out a little bit. Most strains suggested by Mr. Celsius would be suitable, i'd add Powerplant and K2, but these are all run of the mill yeilders lacking in exotic flavors and complex interesting highs. If all you want is yield, this is what i'd do and i pick from that list.
i'm sure others will have more to add.

You're talking about PPP? That's Pure Power Plant which is Nirvana's ripoff of Power Plant. They're very similar.

power plant from dutch p. in my opinon will be more consistent and i ve seen about 30-40 growing in rockwool -top fed and was really inpressed on how big they did not get.no topping or any thing this fes or strong clones-i would flower at 7-9 inches.-wappa from paradise grows mainly one large central cola-100 % indica

I'm gonna be running my first crop of Chemdawg D on a 3x3 under a 600hps... I am anticipating just shy of an eLBow (3/4) realistically.... in 1g coco pots, no CO2. 40-50gs per plant is pretty lofty for a first run of a plant, but we're talking the D.
I know won't have any issues with bag appeal or potency either...
Have you thought of trying to reel in a true killer... mega yeild and mega potency ala elite clone? Thats what you need to be trying to get a hold of IMO. Something already established wiht a market. Fuck messing with seeds and working thru the selection process and hoping one of them actually is worth keeping...
