I once went to Atlantis Hydroponics, I spent over $9,000 with them on overpriced merchandise as a noob because I thought I had no alternative, The only item I wished to return from that purchase was 1000 watt lamp, it was 2 days old, and I never fired it, I decided I would rather go 3x600 watt sodiums as I had read on ICMAG that the 1000 would overheat my space, and was prepared to buy the ballast and bulb at full price from Atlantis, but they would give me no credit for the 1000 watt bulb they raped me for......Needless to say I told him to shove off, and he had just lost their business with me for life, when at that moment he banned me from the store, mind you this was the Athens, GA location and your mileage may vary, but I say fuckem on principle, and hope you will go to a man that needs and appreciates your business. This guy will actually tell you if you are about to waste your money, a true businessman, obviously he wont know I am promoting him on a forum such as this, but he deserves it, if you are in or around Athens/Atlanta give florahydroponics.com or the actual store for better deals, as he often has open items previously used in a greenhouse testing environment. That Atlantis location has since gone out of business and easy to see why so.

I am pleased to have met such an owner and can recommend to all, if any negative experiences ever.....just post here, as dude has a kind heart to true growers, and we know each other by that certain twinkle of the eye.

There is one like that in my state.They have high prices then mark that up.Selections suck to. I drive a extra hour just to give my business else where.

Hey bro, where is the athens/atlanta florahydroponics store actually at? Ive been to the atlantis athens store once, kind of seemed sketchy in the first place being across the street from the police station and everything was over priced..

not related to the east coast stores, but anyone in santa barbara, ca might enjoy.


greencoast hydryponics is one of the most inflated stores ive seen. 25 for a thing of rootek... effing rediculous. the selection of stuff in there is pretty poor too. a friend used them to buy a whole setup and they straight jacked em. luckily when i went in with him, they let us return all the silly shit.

AH is the only game in Atlanta. And i know one distributor who wont allow any new stores to open up because they are afraid of AH's buying power.
