stay a way from plantlightinghydroponics.com i been trying for 2 weeks to find out about what to with my galaxy ballast i i got from them a few months back thats died on me and now i am getting the run a round over a week ago they did replied asking for my order number and have not heard from them since even after secervile e -mails and noting.

They have always done me good! Ive spent lots of money on their stuff and no dissapointment. Call and ask to talk to Bruce himself. He should set you straight. If not then proceed with the Roast kind sir!

Did you try a new/different bulb? I have not heard of problems with these ballasts but have heard of bulbs failing (mostly Eyes).

I have a Galaxy 600 and an Osram Plantastar and it is trouble free for almost 2 years.

sorry to hear that bro... i know nothing of the company its self so i cant offer any input on that however ive had 8 ballasts go bad on me in over two years(brand new) i talked to the guy at my shop seems common place... i dont buy too much stuff online but it may be worth it to find a shop near you that repairs(free at my shop if you but it from them). Ballasts are one thing i would never buy online just for that reason...

I too had a Galaxy Ballast go bad on me. Thank god I saved my recipt. Gave them my order number and RMA was issued. New ballast in a couple of days. Keep trying.

seems like everyone has problems with digital balalsts... dunno why people are buying them

as far as that site goes.. i've never had a problem with them.. great prices.

I swear by lumatek, and galaxy 400's.. But i have heard a few burn outs with higher wattage galaxies tho

wel this is not the first time i have problem with them last time they for got my order and took me over a month to get what i order the reason i order from them was thy had good prices. but there customer service sucks. now my ballast not sure if it is the ballast or the horluxle eye bulb thats is bad last reply i got week ago was he wanted my order number which i sent and have not hear a word from them even after e-mail after e mail. they cant even tell me what i need to do and if i have to deal with them for a replacement or have to deal with the manufacturer. i quess it be faster to order a new cheap bulb and see if it the bulb or ballast but if it s the ballast gone bad then if they will honer the warranty i see if they lert me trade up to a 1000 watt mag ballast and lt me pay the price difference

Another satisfied customer here. I had a bulb failure a while back and they replaced it no problem. If your emails aren't getting resolution, try calling by phone.

ive ordered from them b4 i had an issue with teh shipping i had to sign for it luckily i used a safe addy but the box was busted all to shit with my bulb missing also my reflector hanger was missing i called them about it and they sent it out to me i had it a short while later other than that i don't have any problems with them besides that was the shipping companys fault not theirs but i was kind of pissed i had to sign for it with SUN SYSTEM GROW SYSTEM hanging out the side, so much for stealth shipping....

just call them and make sure to ask if bruce is there and ask to speak to him directly. He will set u straight, if he doesnt, just pm me and i will handle it.

I have spent 5 grand + there this year and had nothing but great service from them on every purchase I have made; not to mention they have fantastic prices....

I am sorry you did not get good service from them thank you for reporting it. I will continue to use them and recomend them, but I will definitely keep this post in mind.

I never had any problems with them. used them numerous times.

hopefully they will get you taken care of. I know when I had a digital ballast go bad, I had to go to sunlight supply to have it replaced. not the retailer. after the 3rd one failed, I got a refund and went back to the old school sunlight supply magnetics. no more ballast issues.

I recently spent $300 with plantlightinghydroponics. Besides the fact that it took 3 days to ship, I'm satisfied with the prices and service. I would use them again. mdhydro is another good one. Hope you get your problem resolved.

I know I had some problems with some items from a different vendor. Emails werent answered and I just picked up the phone and called them. Problem solved.

Seriously, pick up the phone and call them. Even if you work, you must get a lunch break??

Ok heres the update i order a new bulb from htg and tryed it and th ballast is shot just call planetlighting and they said yeah they can ship a new one out monday but they will call me back and let me know if i can swap it out for a mag ballast no way am i going to trust a digi ballast again
